Hamilton Beach Mixer

The bowl is so deep that when trying to whip egg whites, I had to bend the bowl so the beaters could get to the egg whites. It is probably better when you have more ingredients to use. It's a little difficult to use the buttons to move the mixer back and forth and to release the beaters. If you don't use a mixer often, it is probably perfect considering how inexpensive it is.

I am now looking at all my purchases to see the label “Made in USA”. I was under the impression that Hamiliton Beach appliances were made in the USA. It was a well known name to us.

Just meant for Whipping and Blending!

Also the head seemed to be wobbly and cheaply made, there was a lot of play even though when it was locked (more that what may be needed for functioning) Doesn't come with the hook attachment (meant for making dough) as a standard and I wonder if the spiral attachment provided for dough making really makes the dough because when we tried the flour was flying everywhere in the kitchen! Also, the base doesn't rotate so would need manual periodic rotation. All in all, you get what you paid for, it was a wrong purchase hence we returned it.
