    This was a gift for my daughter-in-law. Unfortunately, it had one area that was too hot and burned the food there so I returned it. This particular crock pot got very good reviews so I was going to try another one like it but none are available. So I bought a different brand and that one cooks fine.

    DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! just buy an actual brand crock pot. this piece of junk just randomly stopped working for zero reason at all. its made of super cheap materials and poor quality overall. there is zero reason for an appliance to just die after less than a year of use every other weekend at most. i will never buy a single hamilton beach product again
