I bought this because my kids are waffle FANATICS and I am tired of spending so much money on frozen waffles because they are so processed and begin to get pretty expensive over time. I was very happy when I first opened the box because it is so compact and makes the perfect size waffle to store, freeze and fit in the toaster to re-heat. I set the temp on the lowest setting and in less then 5 minutes the waffles were done, nicely browned on the outside but still so soft and moist on the inside!! :( The only downside is the fact that the grills do not come off to clean but it's really not THAT BIG a deal because with a damp cloth or paper towel it cleans up in 2 minutes!! Worth the money 100%

This compact waffle maker is super easy to use and makes crisp waffles in less than 5 minutes. I have had no spill-over issues so cleaning up is fine although it would be nice to have removable heating plates. Overall, I am very impressed with its performance.

Makes 2 perfect waffles each time. Has adjustable heat settings for how well you like them cooked. Also stores in cabinet easily. Great waffle maker!

for the price it could be better i think. you can't trust the green light to indicate its done. it'll be burned if you do. i time it at minimum heating for 4 minutes and it is already golden brown. So just experiment on it and you will know how long you need to make the waffle.

I've been looking for a replacement for our waffle maker that we had for years. Size is just right and the waffles come out evenly cooked.

It cooks the waffle well but it's disappointing to have a product made by Hamilton Beach with poor construction or a design flaw. The locking mechanism fell of the second time we used it. It is easy enough to put back into place, hoping not to lose the spring that comes off the handle. The product was never dropped or slammed so it's weird to have something new just come apart so quickly. Maybe a more expensive or different model would have worked out better?

Although the "feet" don't line up well - it doesn't sit perfectly flat - and the upper portion of the press jiggles when open, this makes very good waffles. It is easy to use. Having just two waffle squares makes it perfect for a single person. Clean up is quite simple, and its smallish size makes storage much less problematic than the bigger four-square units. Very good value for the price. NOTE: Make sure you have non-scratch tongs or similar implement for removing finished waffles.

This waffle maker has turned out better than expected. It's easy to use and makes nice crispy waffles. Overall I'd recommend it!
