No complaints while it worked. Not a long-term solution, though. It stopped working after 2 years.

It doesn't brew the coffee the same a a normal coffee maker. Also the coffee comes out warm and when you go to get more coffee an hour later it's room temperature

Are you frustrated with breaking glass carafes?? We were and we switched to this pot and have had no regrets. This is the second HB Brewstation we have owned. The first was broken in a move :(. we loved that pot so much we didn't consider any other make/model for the replacement. The design of this water container is different from our first pot and we actually like it much better. It is much easier to fill the water from our frig water dispenser with this current design. You can program several things.....start time, length of time to keep the coffee warm (up to 4 hours), boldness. It is very easy to clean...all the parts come off and can even go in the dishwasher. Highly recommend.

    Best Carafe-less Coffee Maker around.

I am a long-term Brewstation alumni, owning 3 before this one. They were and still are the best carafe-less coffee maker on the market and are very competitive in price. Coffee Quality: Brewstation brew at the right temperature, the Bold setting allows plenty of contact with the beans, the hot plate doesn't burn the coffee when warming, and the coffee tastes good for hours. New Feature: Hamilton Beach could never build a water container that would not spill when transferring water from the sink to the pot, the new water chamber is a welcome feature. The Bold setting definitely changes the flavor of the coffee to a bolder taste, though regular is fine also. Competition: Cuisinart is the only real competition for Brewstations, but their reviews are bad and they are 2x as expensive. I would love Hamilton Beach to build these as metal, substantial appliances ... I'd buy that, but this is a no brain purchase if you wan't 12 cups of coffee and no glass. The sole weakness: I have now replaced 3 Brewstations for an upgrade. Each time the Brewstation was still working as a machine, but failed due to a $.50 piece in the coffee chamber (rubber gasket and/or filter screen). You cannot repair these things (they are permanent), so leaks or clogged screen are terminal. My Brewstations last 3 years or so. Enjoy, you can't go wrong.

We love the Brewstations. This is our third one.

Setting the clock and the timer is easier than on our previous models. I like the removable water reservoir. It's still too early to tell about the durability. Since this is our third one, they seem to last about two years.

I like my coffee HOT. This is a very nice coffee maker but the coffee is just about average. Not very hot. The only way this coffee machine gets hot coffee is when you put it in a microwave to finish.

quality not as good as previous brewstations

We replaced our old brewstation with this unit after waiting months for it to become available. We were excited when it finally arrived. However, we are EXTREMELY disappointed and dissatisfied in this model, and are returning it for the following reasons: 1) Coffee taste is very weak, and a little bitter - even on the bold setting. We made it exactly as we have done with our previous brewstation, then tried adding more coffee (6 coffee measure scoops -the limit according to the instructions), and it's still weak. But it's not just weakness, the coffee does not have the same full flavor as before. That's probably due to the basket having multiple (way too many) holes, thereby not allowing water to sit long enough on the grounds. I can't understand the purpose of so many holes. I've never seen another coffee basket made like this. Also, the basket doesn't have lift up handle which makes removing it when it's hot difficult. 2) The dispenser is much more difficult to operate than on our previous brewstation, which has an identical looking dispenser. You have to push the cup against it just right or the coffee either doesn't come out or doesn't come out full force. Also, the depth of dispenser makes it more difficult to see the coffee going into the cup. This may be something I could get use to, but bad coffee flavor isn't. 3) Brewing noise is continuous - doesn't stop until the maker is turned off. The only improvement over our previous model is the removable water tank - which is why we bought this model. That is a great idea. But that is not enough of a reason to put up with inferior quality elsewhere. We will be returning to our previous model. On a positive note - I am very pleased that I can return this item to our Best Buy store and not have to mail it back.

Absolutely love the idea. The product is getting worse and worse. Will not brew a full pot without having to turn it off and back on 3 or 4 times. Last 2 did this and, the one before just stopped dispensing all together even though the filter was clear and tank flowed freely when pushed manually. Have reverted to a cheap Mr Coffee

This is not the model I had purchased years ago and find it challenging. You can’t remove the basket and bucket that holds the coffee until it is cool because the handle to remove the bucket is under the filter basket. It also is lighter weight and I must hold the entire pot when trying to fill my cups because to get coffee you need to press the button very hard. Not impressed with this model.

Not as good as other models

Bought this thinking it would be great to fill the tank from the filtered water from the fridge. but the tank doesn't fit. The coffee holder has no pour spout, so filling a thermos or serving device must be done from the spigot. Speaking of that, you have to press so hard the whole things moves. do not recommend this model. the previous one worked great for several years. and had a pour spout, took up much less room on the counter, and the storage tank could be used to fill the system from the fridge filtered water spout.

I purchased this coffee maker as a Mother's Day gift. My mother had one like this at her job and she likes that it dispenses coffee per cup - whatever size cup you would like to use. It keeps the coffee warm for at least 2 hours in the reservoir after it is made.

I love this coffeemaker! The coffee brews fast and doesn't get that scorched taste that a glass carafe gets after sitting on warm for a couple of hours.

    dispenser clogs over time

This was our second purchase. Not having to fuss with carafes was a good feature. Coffee taste is so-so, due to the fact that the water going over the grounds is not at a good temperature and then the coffee itself sits directly on a heating element in the receptacle, The coffee dispenser spout has a nonremovable filter that clogs with very-hard-to-clean coffee residue rendering the machine unusable. I've switched back to a carafe-style coffeemaker with a stainless steel carafe.

I have used this coffeemaker for about 2 months and hate it more everyday. It is very poor quality to the Brewstation I had in the past and am so sorry I ordered it. Cheaply made. Poor quality. Am replacing with a much better Cuisinart.

    Worst coffee pot ever made

This manufacture of coffee maker is the worst ever. The time is always changing and after having it less then a year, it takes over 30 minutes to brew half a pit of coffee. If I could I would give it a negative review. Worst ever

I returned two of these units to BestBuy, first one looked used, the second one had dents in the water resevoir. Second one returned for full refund, afraid to try another one. Also get conflicting statements from Bestbuy and Hamilton Beach. BestBuy says they are shipped straight from Hamilton Beach, Hamilton Beach says they are shipped from BestBuy warehouse.
