Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Most important is that the waffles come out perfect, light and airy and perfectly browned. The second most important thing for me is that the grids come out and can be cleaned in the dishwasher. The grids do need to be sprayed with oil so the waffles do not stick. The last iron I had, I needed to wipe the grids with paper towels to get rid of the oil, however, not all the oil was absorbed. Eventually, it became rancid. The waffles were horrible! Thus, leading me to purchase a new waffle iron, even though the old one still worked. I do wish there was a beeping alarm when the waffles were done, limiting my constant watch for the light. Overall, this waffle iron is great.
