I use my stand mixer to make mashed potatoes because this mixer isn't up to the task.

WONDERFUL HAND MIXER

Being able to store the beaters and the mixer in one compact space is a plus. The three speeds are fabulous, and so much more powerful than my old mixer. Great buy, and it was on sale.
