Glad I did, I'm having a ball learning something new! Unit heats quickly and toasts the sandwich in minutes. I like the fact it is so lightweight, I can easily store it under the counter when not in use and the locking mechanism works great. Overall, I'm quite happy with my purchase.

The griddle is non stick and very easy to clean. Just wet a paper towel, heat up the panini maker and wipe off..

No need to butter or oil the bread on your sandwich; the untreated bread toasts up beautifully with lightly browned ridges.

Con: It is light, so it doesn't apply much weight to the panini. You have to manually apply pressure. If you put weight on the handle, it tiles forward and is dangerous. And the top part gets quite hot, so you can't apply weight there using bare hands.
