I was surprised the first time I opened a can because I was use to electric openers piercing the top and having to be careful of sharp edges. Not true any more because this one opens the can by piercing under the metal rim making it mess free and no sharp edges. This is a great can opener!

I bought this elsewhere, but I want to alert people. Maybe we got a defective one, but due to the warranty, it hardly pays to send it back. Shipping would cost about half the item's price. Quite often, it takes more than one full circle to open the can. When that happens, sharp barbs are created. Sometimes, only half of the lid is opened (see my photo).

Omg love this thing! Haven’t had an electric can opener for many years. It’s not like the old ones. It’s pretty quiet and it cuts the lids off and doesn’t leave the very sharp edges that I remember. Highly recommend. Also looks nice sitting on my counter.

This can opener is amazing. It leaves no sharp edges around the lid like all other can openers. I got tired a wasting my money on all the cheap basic ones. This is now my favorite small appliance in my kitchen. My aunt bought one and told me how amazing it was, so I purchased one and I love it. Would highly recommend it to others.
