My normal hand can openers kept rusting and honestly I got sick of trying to overpower the things every time I had to open cans. Bought this bad boy, and I’m never going back. I’ve used it to open those super big tomato cans and have never had an issue with it. I believe the locking mechanism can support those heavy cans by itself, but I personally am paranoid and help support those heavy cans lol. Great purchase, 10/10.

We have been looking for a sturdy can opener that was tall enough for bigger cans and this is the one that has worked the best. It is far more durable than the last one we had, and repeated use hasn't led to parts falling off(!) like another brand we had gone with. This was worth the price.

Ordered this can opener after reading reviews on it. It works smoothly, and the feature of cutting off the lid at the sides of the top is great. No more sharp can lids to dispose of.

Bought this one to replace a old one. We like that you don't have to worry about sharp edges on the cans. So far it has worked great.

I simply love my new can opener! Takes all of the pressure off of my wrist when opening my tuna. I haven’t had the need to skip my tuna snack due to avoiding the discomfort experienced when using a manual can opener.

Waited while to make sure it continued working. Works well, but I wasn't used to a can opener that cuts around the outside edges, instead of the inside of the lid. Seems hazardous to getting cut. But, I'm just extra careful and haven't gotten injured yet...the edges are sharp, not jagged; but I use a dish rag to be safe.

This is the best electric can opener that I have owned. This is the second time that I have purchased this model. The first one lasted 8 years. I especially love that it leaves the can borders smooth, so you are less likely to sustain a cut. Also, the lid fits perfectly back on the can. Highly recommend. This model is hard to find. I hope they continue to make it.
