OK but not great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn't ready to spend $500 on a high speed but my last blender had burned up. I read tons of reviews on what seemed like a million options and basically flipped a coin. I'm not overly impressed with the "smoothie cycle" on this one-it isn't long enough if you are using any hard &/or frozen ingredients. Also the pour-through lid is funky-I would rather have a regular one. That said, it seems fairly powerful and I like that it has an overheat shut off so maybe it won't burn up on me before I can afford to invest in a BlendTec or VitaMix.
