I used it once to make a cake. I am not a heavy user. I was tired of using a handheld when I wanted to bake. I like the style of the mixer and most importantly, it gets the job done. No complaints.

This is my first stand mixer. It's a little louder than expected and struggled with a tough dough I was making but, other than that, I feel like I got what I paid for.

I have had this mixer for a year now. I will say it has many positive things. But it also has some negative things. I have mostly used it to make cakes, and cookies from scratch. It does pretty well with making batter and mixing ingredients. I have made amazing, mashed potatoes with this mixer. It does okay with whipping egg whites, it took a while to peak, and after five minutes running it began to have an electric smell. I can see how this mixer may struggle with kneading bread dough; I suspect it might not be able to truly handle it. I am going to put it to the test very soon with making bread. The tilt head mechanism feels a little flimsy, with use and time I can see it failing. And do yourself a favor, get nail polish in a bright color or a marker that will mark the dial, the dial numbers will rub off completely after a few uses. They should not have put the numbers on the knob. Its a pretty simple machine, easy to clean, the accessories are of quality, and its not very loud. I like the mixer a lot, but I see myself looking for something stronger and sturdier for making bread. If you are going to use it here and there to make basic mixes and cookies, this is for you. If you plan on using it multiple times a month, it may not last, and its performance may struggle.
