Maybe a premature review, but I've put this through the paces listening to everything from rock, death metal, country, rap, classical, jazz, to just talk radio. I'm impressed with what I've heard. I was considering the JBL extreme 2 or the Sony XB43 with those also being on sale, but I was looking for something that was more of strictly at home speaker to go between my living room and garage gym. Of the three this has the most accurate sound, so I think this is worth the additional money. One thing I'd recommend to be mindful of is because the sound is so accurate you may hear things you wouldn't have before, and the application you're using to stream may give you a different sound. For example, I was listening to Debussy's Claire de Lune on Spotify and there was a noticeable hiss, but listening to it on Youtube it was significantly clearer, This speaker gets plenty loud, and doesn't start becoming distorted at max volume. This has plenty of bass that you'll feel, if that's what you're looking for. Set-up was snap, and you don't need the app. I really have nothing negative to say about this speaker, but if I had one request it would be for them to include a USB-C cable. Also, it appears the going rate for this is almost always $200, and the $480 list price is mostly a sales gimmick. Overall, I highly recommend this for its tremendous sound, superb build quality, and it's fairly portable.

This speaker is the best speaker I have ever owned! I even recently bought the Sony srs xb43 and this HK speaker blows the Sony out of the water in as far as loudness, quality and deep room shaking lows. The only thing I wish this speaker had that my Sony has is the lights. Battery life is excellent when fully charged. This little thing is heavy( that's how you know it isn't cheap quality). Can't go wrong with this One!

The sound is clear with really balanced bass. Easy to carry, carried it for three hours straight without getting tired. On a full charge it play for six hours would have played longer but we left the park. Great speaker.

For the sale price, this is a great small speaker to take outside by pool. The sound is decent for how small it is. Now that I have had it a few years, it doesn't keep a charge as long but it go about 3-4 hours where as brand new it would go alot longer.
