Customers are saying

Customers highly value the variety of games offered, the affordability, and ease of use of Hasbro Game Night. Many appreciate the inclusion of Monopoly, citing it as a highlight, and the overall entertainment value for families. While some mentioned minor drawbacks related to setup and AI performance, these were less frequently reported than the positive aspects.

Good games with a few minor flaws

I'll start by saying I bought this game on sale for $20, not $60. It's definitely worth it at $20, but probably not at $60. The games are all fun and don't have any game breaking flaws, and I enjoy playing them. They are each available individually from the eshop as well, so if you're only interested in one there's no need to get the full bundle. Since this game truly is three games (including 3 different games on the switch home menu) I'll review each individually. Risk: Overall fun, but a bit slow moving at times. I wish you could skip through the AI's move entirely, since I've been playing long enough I can look at the board after someone moves and instantly tell what happened. Currently, the best you can do is set the AI speed to fast and hit 'a' whenever they attack a territory to skip the dice rolls. On that note, it would be able to skip the dice rolls when it's my turn as well. I don't need a roll-by-roll play through of the battle; I would be more than happy to click attack and have the game spit out who won and how many armies were lost. The only other thing I wished the game had was an option to return to the classic game board and game pieces, but that is a very minor gripe. All that being said, the game is very fun, the controls are intuitive, and the AI is hard enough to present a bit of a challenge. The game also has an autosave feature which is really nice; if you decide you want to play a different game and finish the current risk game later you can pop this game card back in later and pick up right where you left off. 3/5 Monopoly: This is probably the best executed of the three games on this card, in my opinion. One of two gripes I have is with the 3D fields; the view is so zoomed in I sometimes had trouble visualizing where I, an opponent, or a property is on the board, but as I play more I think I could get used to it, and the game does have the option to play on the standard board, which is better in my experience. I also found the manage properties and trade screen a little awkward to navigate, but with so many small properties Ubisoft did about as well as could be expected with the switch controllers. The only thing that might help it out is if the cursor moved a little faster. There is a lot to love about this version of monopoly, however. One of my personal favorite features is the option to play to different goals, which each have realistic time estimates. No one I know would play monopoly with me before this since it took so long, but I think I might have a chance of convincing them now. The different game modes vary from "first to own a hotel" to "first to have $2000" or "first to have a certain number of properties/sets." The time estimates vary from 25 min to 55 min, and I found them to be fairly accurate playing against an AI. Some of these game modes do a good job mixing up strategy and the play of the game as well; for instance "first to own a hotel" makes cheap sets much more valuable than expensive ones. I would highly recommend this game. 5/5 Trivial Pursuit Live: I've played this game the least, so I don't have as much to say about it. I've never been a massive trivia pursuit fan, and this one has several mini-game type trivia games that seem a little unnecessary to me. The game is solid, however: the trivia is current, not crazy difficult, and the game does a good job of feeling rewarding even if you're not doing well. 4/5

For this to be worth $60 you'd have to really love all 3 bored games and find a big advantage to playing them on a console (travel distraction, play online, etc). I got this for $16 between a sale and Gamer's Club unlocked. For that price I'll easily get my money's worth. I've played Monopoly the most. It looks great, bright, well animated while still feeling like the real game. Some nice touches are that the dice roll just like real dice even knocking over pieces. HD rumble is used to make it feel like you actually have dice in your hand (more like it's in a up in your hand but close enough). It's nice that there are several options for house rules. It's disappointing that you can't mix and match house rules. The games save automatically between turns but one game we played didn't save at all. Another crashed but when we went back in no progress was lost. I played risk a bit. It was similarly well designed and translated the board game experience well. I'd say these games are worth about $10 for each one you'll actually play. Maybe $20 each if you really like board games over video games and are in a situation board games won't work.

Just wanted to let everyone know that this game includes the same Monopoly as the "Monopoly for Nintendo Switch" game which is sold separate. If the price is similar buy this one instead and get two additional games.
