I love the zoom. If you need a nice zoom camera this is a great option because you take the pictures then you can post them or share them right away. It doesn't increase the resolution of the phone but when you zoom, it's a true optical zoom. Once you reach it's max, then it begins digital zoom and that's when the pixel replication and loss of quality begins as with any digital camera. Over all, I'm very pleased with the results and performance. You can turn the flash on or off. The zoom is fast and in case your wondering, it's not self powered, it uses the phone's battery and memory. All of the phone's native functions are conveyed to the camera so if you can do it with the phone's camera, you can do it with the camera mod. I give it a thumbs up.

This camera is even better than I thought. The stock camera on the phone is pretty week / sucks. So this upgrade was key. It has a stylized look to the pics with a great flash. Video is pretty good as well

Didnt plan on buying this along with the phone...but he sure is happy I did....He loves it and thats all that matters....It is very easy to attach and detach, and now there is now need for a new camera.

At over $200, I would have stayed away from this mod, but when it went on sale, I got it for $80. That was a steal! I like the mod and the zoom is pretty solid. The original price point would have been worth it if it came with more options/functionality. There is no burst mode, so you're limited to taking one snap at a time. Also, you can record video using the zoom lens, but if you zoom in and out, you can hear the mechanism buzzing during playback, which kinda ruins the video. Overall a solid mod, but only if you can get it at a discount.

I bought this camera for my daughter's phone and she loves it. As an amateur photographer she wanted to have a portable camera that would help her create. Would recommend.

Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it runs a little slower taking pictures. Other than that, excellent pictures and easy to use

one of my favorite mods i have the projector speaker and now camera i highly recommend getting the camera mod if you are planning any trips etc great zoom and focus works very well

I thought that this addon will provide better picture quality. It does in some way, and the zoom works. However do not expect miracles from it. It's not worth you'r money.

The camera works nicely but is a bit bulky. Also would be nice if you could attach a cord or something to secure it in your hands

Just as a hoped!! Fantastic zoom! Make sure you have a full charge on your phone. Flash is great too. Really makes your phone camera even more great!

After years of longing for a Hasselblad I get the chance with the Moto Mod. Takes great pictures. Its a little heavy but its worth the weight.

This does what it says it does. The picture quality is very good. Easy to figure out how to use.

Optics are excellent and improve the photo/video quality of the built in camera. It can drain the battery quickly if camera is left on for an extended period. Purchased this item on sale for $99 dollars and am extremely happy with it, but at full retail I would rather buy a dedicated camera.

I didn't realize how bad the quality of my smartphone pictures was until i started using this moto mod. the optical zoom versus digital zoom is like night and day. It allows for really good pictures when zooming because you don't get the pixelization that happens with the digital zoom of your phone camera. Overall, it is worth the investment if you get it on sale.
