purchased this for my adult daughter because she wanted a noise machine, this should do the trick

Purchased Dec 4, 2024. It stopped working on March 30, 2025. Lasted what? 4 months? Too late to return my $150 alarm clock. What a complete waste of money!!!!

Product just isnt a good product in comparison to other brands. Very disappointed in actually doing what it was intended to do, help create a soothing sleep environment, not happening woth this unit.

THIS PRODUCT IS AWFUL. Honestly shocked that anyone thinks this is a good product. VERY few options without subscribing to their paid service and it keeps playing rain sounds on my wake setting even though nothing is set to that. DO NOT BUY!

I love this alarm clock! It works great and has definitely improved my sleep schedule. I chose to not purchase the subscription and it still works great. However, I do think it is a little ridiculous that I am asked to pay to unlock extra features when the alarm clock itself is 200 dollars.

Can't quite give it one star, but it is close. Seems well built, but that is the end of the positives. App is clunky and necessary. Many features are paywalled behind a $50 a year subscription; most of which are pretty useless, but it makes navigating the app even more difficult. Cannot simply turn on the light without using the app and doing so erased my evening routine, which I was unable to edit without subscribing after adding it again. It now starts with an incredibly loud white noise, which I am unable to save in the settings without subscribing. There are no physical buttons to adjust volume, they are touch operated and hidden to the left and right of the clock display, you have to hunt around to find them. Not worth the money, glad I got it on sale, but would not buy again. Currently shopping for an alternative.

I love all the choices of light and sound for waking up! Much more calming than a jarring phone alarm. Highly recommend!

Worth it. For someone that is an extremely light sleeper this sound machine is the best. Connected with no issues at all. Extremely disappointed that it did not have more options but you can get by without doing the membership which is ridiculous considering the cost of the machine. It should have came with items in the subscription. Membership would not be bad if you purchase the $30 machine but for the cost of this it should have come with everything.

I love the Hatch alarm clocks. They helped regulate my sleep schedule. I use it to Wind down at night and to wake me up without an alarming sound. This is my second purchase. I am gifting this one as a housewarming gift.

Once set up it works well. Have enjoyed it very much. One downfall was that we needed to change out home wifi setup because this unit apparently doesn't recognize "/". That being said, I didn't lose sleep over it.

This alarm clock plays brown noise which is helpful, but there are zero wake-up sounds that actually wake me up. Everything is soothing and relaxing and lulls me back to sleep. The one energizing playlist they have is EDM music with a terrifying DJ voice that would startle me awake in a horrible way. It’s not that difficult to build a sound machine, and alarm clock that both puts people to sleep and adequately wakes them up. The entire machine also feels cheaply made for the price. For example. I have the clock face set to show up when tapped and i have to do so at least 5 times. It also feels like light-weight cheaply made plastic. Not to mention it’s $5 a month for more sound options…. What sound options? Still slim picking and for the price it should be possible to upload different sounds/music. Don’t love that it also needs wifi to function properly. Extremely disappointed and will be looking for an alternative. There’s no reason this unit should be more than $40.

The device is beautiful and the app is fantastic. The negatives: +Light intensity is 170lux compared to others at 310 It’s almost as bright as a 20 watt light bulb +Most features require the subscription. The alarm clock that keeps on costing. +Alarm sound adjusts its sound level. I keep it at max, but when I’m awaken by my failsafe phone, Hatch has set itself to 30% volume.
