+++Warning, this will contain some spoilerish material from previous seasons, but no major giveaways from season 5. If you have not seen the prior seasons proceed at your own risk. +++ Chances are, by now everyone knows what the show is. In some ways it has a similar feel to what is has since it found its footing as a show. In other ways this season was different. It still kept the case-of-the week, intertwined with larger story lines. Chin got one of the larger arcs after having found out who killed his father last season, his father's killer becomes an increasing foil throughout the season. Danny got a couple larger arcs over the season, one expanding the story around his brother who we last saw escaping in a plane, and the other involving Rachel working her way back into his life. I think the one thing the show is suffering from now is having too large an ensemble cast. With the addition of Chi McBride and Jorge Garcia as series regulars, there is just not enough for everyone to do. As a result we see the team split much more, sometimes with a couple members working on an different part of the case (or a totally different case) or some characters totally absent in a given episode. The stand out episode, to me, of the season was the 100th episode which re-told the events of the pilot episode if things had turned out differently, and culminated in another Steve vs Wo-Fat showdown. This season also saw the return of Terry O'Quinn as Joe White for a few episodes and Michelle Borth as Catherine in the season finale. The season finale also set up what is likely to be the main arc of Season 6. For those who get the discs, obviously as the title implies the lack of blu ray sucks. This is one of the shows going the cheap route and only releasing it on DVD. While the picture and sound are okay, those who get the discs are robbed of the HD experience we got the first few seasons. Extras are similar to what they have been before. Deleted scenes on many episodes. Limited commentary tracks (I think only 1 or 2 episodes had one this year) and then on the final disc a few behind the scenes features and a gag reel. There is also a feature on Daniel Dae Kim's directorial debut. Good for what is there. All in all, the season is good. I wraps up some story lines, and sets up others. The action on the series continues to be top notch and the stories are still engaging. If you can live with the lack of blu ray the DVDs are worth getting, but if that is a deal breaker or you do not care about the extras then streaming it is probably the way to go.

Really fun series with an excellent cast, though I will say the show often makes Hawaii look like the most violent place on earth.

Love the program and stars of the series. I have been a fan of Hawaii 5-0, going back to the original series with Jack Lord. I have all of the series of shows starting with the first one. I also am working towards completing the series with the original shows when I can obtain each year. I have the first 4 years and hope to have all 11 years in the future.

Having been a big fan of the original Hawaii Five-0 series, I must say that this show is even better. In depth character development grows with each season. Co-stars enhance the title characters instead of detracting from them. In all, a most enjoyable show.

I love the banter between Steve and Danny. The others add character. I have been to Hawaii and a lot of scenes that are on the show I have seen and reminds me of vacation. It is a serious show with a lot of ideas that can be true and serious.

I never really watched the original show, but really enjoy this version. It has great action and stories but gets a little cringy with some of the guest stars. The best parts are the bickering b/w Steve and Danno.

The latest season in the "new" Hawaii Five-O series. I can't watch it during the years because of working nights, so I purchase each season on DVD. A different spin on the old show of the same name.

I haven't seen any of season 6 yet, but I know it will be just as good as the past seasons...I enjoy this show a lot...the cast the characters are all great...I recommend this show very much.

Enjoyed the DVD and all the extras they added very much (Director overviews, actor comments, specials like gag reel. Quality of DVD was very good even though they aren't making these in HD.

Great characters, lots of action and a beautiful backdrop make this a fun show to watch. The DVD has lots of bonus features too. If you are a fan of this show, the gag real is a must see!

I was pleasantly surprised to see this Hawaii 5-0 season 6 at such a fantastic sale price. I immediately picked it up as a gift for my sister. I had already gotten mine earlier.

This series has been so refreshing. The story lines continue but not so excessive that you lose interest. Everything about this show is perfect from the first season to now.

Season 6 of Hawaii Five-O is packed with high-octane episodes that keep you engrossed from beginning to end. A wonderful continuation of story lines from Season 5 and before.

I can't believe it's been six years for this new Hawaii 5-0. I love the chemistry between the characters and the scripts are getting more serious. Keep up the good work!

I LOVE Hawaii 50 - my family and I watch it every week but I have to purchase each and every season and Best Buy offers a sale price that is outstanding!!

I really like this show! Great characters, lots of action, and even in the sixth season they keep coming up with exciting, interesting episodes.

This is a great series and is good entertainment. I also purchased other series.
