pre pay hbo subscription easy to redeem but you nothing extra

Got it when it was on sale and it provides a month and a half's worth of time.

If you already have an HBO Now subscription you cannot add these as a way to pay for it. You must let your subscription expire and then start again using the gift card as payment. It is 2020 and should not be that hard.

Great for stocking stuffers, otherwise they would only be empty socks, GET IT?

I did not realize that if you’re tv does not have the hbo go app this won’t work, I was able to download it on my phone but I really wanted to use it on my tv. They also offered a month free trial on hbo now if I hadn’t entered my gift card first

Can be trickier to redeem than it should be but access to good shows.

For black friday, good deal to use on future one month purchase of HBO

The only reason I got this card is so that I don't have to use my credit card to watch the substandard streaming service when the time is up it's up and I'll just wait until there's something else on the service that I need really need to see

I have been a subscriber to the service, and using the card to extend my subscription seemed difficult. I received the product quickly and it was packaged safely.

Be warned when you cash this gift card: it will immediately activate your membership and you cannot "stock" your credit. Use it only when you're ready to watch.

Great as a gift for people that don't subscribe to HBO. The redeeming process is cumbersome though - you can't apply it to an existing subscription.

I had to shut off auto-pay in order to use this, and now I'm afraid I'll lose my current monthly deal.

HBO Now doesn't exist anymore, and while the gift card works for HBO Max, the lack of wide device support by HBO Max (ex: no Roku) makes HBO Max a service I won't be renewing.

DO NOT BUY!!! HBO does not accept their own gift cards when customers use any promotional subscription offer. This is an unethical and anti-customer practice by HBO. DO NOT BUY!!!
