This product is decent. But I can’t use my plex account to watch tv when away from home.

Works as advertised except (so far) Apple TV does not have an app. It is nice watching football while cutting the lawn.

I bought this hdhomerun to use with Plex to record our favorite over the air tv shows because our PlayStation Vue subscription dropped some of the local programming such as NBC. The HDhomeRun was so east to hook up and pair to Plex. Everything works awesome and records our shoes with no issues using Plex and also allows us to watch over the air tv anywhere!

Ran into some problems with this until I realized it needed a firmware update. After the update it works fantastically in conjunction with the app. I can use it to watch live TV on my computer, Fire tablet, and iPhone. Users who would like to use the DVR feature after the 2-month trial will have to pay SiliconDust for a subscription.

Connect this up with an OTA antenna like the clearstream and you get broadcast TV over wifi to any device in your house including your mobile phone and tablets. I use an app called channels which gives you a tv-like guide but there are free alternatives that are close. Definitely worth the purchase to fill in the gaps if you have cut the cord.

I purchased this product because I have a downstairs bedroom that receives poor television reception. We connected the HDHomeRun device to an antenna in an upstairs room, wired the antenna to the router, and we were quickly up and running. I was disappointed that the product does not have a native app for the Fire TV Stick, but I was able to purchase the InstaTV app, and that app has solved the problem. The picture is not as sharp as with a direct antenna attention, but I am pleased nonetheless.

I use this Connect Duo in the attic of my condo with a large outdoor antenna. The attic was the only place I could get a clear signal with an antenna. I have it attached by ethernet to a Google Wifi access point. I have a Nvidia Shield attached to my TV running Plex. It did take a little bit of fine tuning, but now I enjoy HD local channels on my TV.

I have had HDhomerun tuner for several years. The power supply died so I decided to replace it with the newer version. Works great and now works with more software like Kodi. Easy to set up.

I hooked my outdoor Omni directional antenna to my 2 tuner HD home run receiver which converts on air HD Channels to my homes wifi network. The on air channels broadcast antennas are about 60 miles from my home and I now can stream these channels from my iPad and IPhone to my HD TV through my Apple TV. Easy to set up and works great

Great way to stream OTA (over-the-air) channels to devices, but lacking a native Apple TV app has been a bit of a disappointment. Besides that, it has been a great purchase, especially since we live in an area with a lot of channels that are broadcast.

I cut the cord and went looking for a device to work with OTA antenna. Ran across the HDHomeRun Connect and have been in OTA bliss. I love it. Super was to set up and very reliable. Not looking back at cable.

I bought it as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend.. It was not the right it that I chose.

The software isn't native to Roku. You'll be fine with nvidia shield. If you have a Roku, Tablo makes boxes to interface with Roku software out of the box. You also need an antenna for either.

This tuner is very cost effective and simple to use. I am using mine with the Nvidia Shield. It adds tuner capability to my home network. Great product for a great price.

Great device, works with several media servers/pvr, PLEX being my personal favorite, it allows me to stream content anywhere, watched baseball game while waiting on my son the other night. This tuner + plex very versitale.

Great device, just do your homework prior to buying to make sure it's compatible with your devices. Example, to use with Apple TV you need to download an app, one of the available apps (better one) requires a fee. No paid apps are needed for Xbox or Amazon Firestick. Does not work with Roku TV.

Now I can watch OTA TV in any room with out having to run cable to each room.

The HDHomerun was easy to set up and get going. I really didn't care for the native apps for Android or AppleTV, but this is much easier to use when you add the Channels App.

One antenna and I'm able to steam to all my tvs with a fire stick. Great picture, cut the cord!
