This device made my local antenna channels usable to devices on my network. With 4 tuners, up to 4 devices can connect at the same time. Great for cord cutters who use OTA Antennas for tv reception.

I purchased this specifically to add it to an existing Plex Server setup. I had already cut cable but did not want to add Digital antennas on televisions where wireless cable boxes had once been. Enter Silicon Dust. I already had Various Android boxes on the televisions and this allowed me to bring OTA Live TV (32 channels) to all of those boxes without having to add antennas to any television in the house. With quad tuners and plex i can record while watching another show or while someone is watching in another room. For my needs this thing rocks! All of the Android boxes as well as Fire TV and Apple TV that i tested it on, found the tuner on my Network and added it automatically and allowed me to view live TV without downloading the HDHomerun App. You will need a Plex Subscription or a DVR Service from SiliconDust to be able to record.

I bought this to be able to eventually cut back on my satellite subscription . Using an inside antenna I pull in over 25 channels.I’m hoping this will increase as soon as I get my outdoor antenna installed.

Great device, the tuner itself worked flawlessly. The only issue you may run into will be with your antenna. My antenna was not the best, I paired this with a Plex server to get my locals and it worked great. Would definitely recommend to others.

Not great need a monthly subscription for ota channel guide and the interface is dated. Many other great products for network TV streaming.

Bought this to get local Channels over the air. This tuner is bringing us closer to cutting the cord. Picture looks better than compressed cable feed and has been rock solid so far.

Who needs cable when you have a HDHomeRun box? Not this guy. Easy to hook up simple to install the app. I suggest downloading “Plex server” for your DVR needs as it works flawlessly with HDHomeRun and it’s a free.

The Quatro is replacing a Prime as I give the local cable company the old "you're #1". Installation was crazy simple. Channel scans are fast. A recent firmware upgrade corrected a problem where the box would freeze.

I bought this so I could use my Plex server as a DVR and for Live TV. I'm so glad I did. It works very well with Plex. Now, I can cut the cord, save money, and watch TV anywhere (home and away).

We use this to watch and record over the air tv. I would definitely recommend it. I can watch live tv on my iPad and iPhone while recording other shows and someone else watching on our main tv. Quatro is the way to go.

Love this tuner and it’s simple setup. I use the Channels App (iOS&AppleTV) over the HDHOMERUN app. I can stream to all my AppleTV boxes and never have a monthly fee. I’ve saved hundreds of dollars since ditching cable.

The product was easy to set up. Only issue was getting my web TV to download the hdhomerun software as it does not give me the ability to enter a web browser.

Needed to share my ota signal very pleased no problems at all.

This quad tuner receives very well all of the TV signals within about 50 miles using a 4 bay bow tie antenna just 20 feet high. It seems to have very good multi-path rejection. I believe that it works better than the previous dual tuner that I was using. The DVR service is disappointing. Little to no documentation for troubleshooting and limited tech support for troubleshooting the DVR service. Reading hundreds of public forum posts was necessary to make the DVR service functional. This tuner works very well with windows 7 media center but that is gone in windows 10.

Pros: TV anywhere on any device, well almost. Cons: can't be located outside or in hot locations where it would be closest to the Antenna. Doesn't have wireless so it must be in proximity of a network connection. Doesn't have PPOE so it requires another wire and an outlet near the devices. Overall it's a great box and works as designed, however, there is a lot of room for obvious improvements.

Very easy to set up and connect to. There free app gets the job done, but not to flashy. Can work with other TV apps as well if you want a better interface. Quality mainly depends on your antenna signal.

I had a hard time choosing between the HDHomeRun Quatro and the Tablo 4 Tuner. I ultimately choose the HomeRun for several reasons. It's cheaper! It's super small and very easy to setup. Very low hardware failure rate. It's just a Tuner so it's up to you to figure out your own DVR solution. I went with Channels DVR on my 4th Gen Intel I5 PC and Channels app on my Apple TV's. Channels is fantastic and works flawlessly. Plex works great too as well as others but I wanted something anybody could use. Basically, your not tied down with software. Because the HomeRun streams directly to the device, there is no lag with channel switching. Also, the HomeRun will pass Dolby 5.1 as applicable.

Works great! Quite happy with the tuner. I have it configured with my Plex server so we can record all our favorite shows. Been a few months now and not a single hiccup.

I was a bit reluctant to choose this product over the Table product because I was not familiar with the brand - but - it does work quite well. On the plus side, it is fast and less expensive. The minus is that is stores the videos on your computer - which will naturally have some type of delay. Further, you need to purchase a "dvr" license. All in all the product, the guide, and the license are all very reasonably priced and this is a great solution.
