His really is a great product. I purchased it with the intent of also subscribing to their OTT streaming service and this device would let me record both OTA and their stream. However, their streaming service looks like it is still in the software alpha stage, so I returned. I didn’t see a need to record just OTA channels since almost all of that content is available on demand anyway. Note, PlayOn (which is a SVR, not a DVR) is a good alternative if you have a decent Win PC, and no tv antenna required.

Using this as a tuner for my windows media center. This works great and allows me to watch and/or record up to 4 channels at the same time.

I bought this about 1 week ago. It was easy set up and have had no problems so far. It is a must have for people who have cut the cord. I haven’t purchased the DVR package yet.

Paired with the channels app and a good antenna, this is a great little OTA streamer. I am using it on my AppleTV4 and have had no issues.

Picks up plenty of stations. It’s remarkable how much good tv is on OTA (Over The Air). The picture looks great. I’m using it with Plex on my desktop.

We are finally moving in the direction of cutting the cord, i purchased a great outdoor antenna and was ready to start running cable to each of the TV locations in the home but found this little gem which will only require one antenna wire in and then a total of 4 TVs will receive. It works as described, the only issue are the lack of directions and installation on a Vizio 4k smart TV. The HD App will install on the Vizio remote but not on the TV which is no fault of this product.

Happy with the ability to use this to watch network shows on my laptop while wife dominates the TV.

I bought this unit and use the homerun premium and my computer as a dvr. Works perfectly anywhere I have an internet connection. Local OTA works perfectly.

My family was looking to “cord cut” and get rid of our satellite dish. This product works perfectly. Hooked up the DVR to our house server fairly easy.

I enjoy using this with my plex server. The audio and video are high quality. The HD Homerun software leaves much to be desired.

Bought this just to get ride of cable not knowing that it would turn out to be the best thing ever for my family. Purchasing this has allowed me to save so much money and enjoy so much more than I would have before on television with me family. There are over 30 channels that I get and to this day I have not been able to fully review them all do to the unlimited programming I get on the channels I am currently watching. A must have for those on a budget and for those who like a variety of shows!

quad tuner with plex - works great, not much to report, other than the pure joy of being able to get tv over the network... times four!

HDHomerun and Tablo owner here. I was hesitant on moving to HDHomerun and becoming reliant on Plex. However, it is clear they both have the user experience nailed. The seamless navigation from personal pics and videos to live TV is fantastic. The interface is much faster than Tablo. The channel quality is comparable. The only thing I will continue to research is Plex privacy and remote mgt. See how the solution holds up long-term...

Works really well. Using four TVs, each with a Fire TV stick. It will work as well as the OTA signals you capture so use a good yagi antenna.

Added to expand my original homerun since wanted to DVR multiple channels with my plex at the same time. Works great and as expected.

I purchased the HD HomeRun product to see how well it worked for cord cutting. The product is fantastic and works flawlessly. It works with Plex, Kodi and their own software. Initially I had an issue with the AC3, but tech support responded very fast and released a software update which fixed the problem. All of the software applications have their issues. I am still waiting for a good EPG before making the move but one is promised soon by Plex.

I was looking for a digital tuner to connect to a media server. This new tuner allows for four concurrent channels to stream out. I am able to watch TV on my phone, while my wife is watching on the bedroom TV and kids in the living room. We can all watch different channels while the media server is running as a DVR. Quality of the video is same as watching it directly on the antenna, pending wireless signal is strong enough. The previous tuners were limited to 2 channels without having to buy a second unit or upgrade to the professional for more.

It's my 2nd 4 turner box love the SD Home boxes. easy to set up

I bought the HDHomeRun Quatro for accessing local broadcast stations as well as setting up a DVR. It works really well with Live Channels on my AndroidTV boxes (Shield and mibox). DVR functionality is still a work in progress. The Silicondust DVR is inexpensive but very confusing to set up. Using Live Channels as a DVR has its own shortcomings. Other than DVR, it works really well for accessing local channels.

We purchased this so we could cancel our cable co. So far it is working great. Picture quality on most channels is better than with cable.
