Just began this game a few days ago, but so far this game has impressed me. The visuals look great, the combat is fun and can be challenging. This game has puzzles such as lining up pieces of a symbol together to get past a locked door, which will definitely take you a few minutes to figure out. Also, wear headphones when playing this game, makes the experience a lot better. I'd definitely reccomend this game to anyone who's on the fence about it. Hellblade 2 will be coming out soon so it will be a good idea to complete this one first.

The game is beautiful and engrossing. The only problem that I have is that the game case was damaged with a blade, I guess trying to get the box open they dug way too deep while opening the box and damaging the game cases in the process. Unfortunately it was the last game. But they should be more careful because I didn’t get a discount for it.

Really psychological thriller of a game and it’s really incredibly details when it comes to the psychosis

Though this game will be available on XBOX Gamepass, I wanted to own the physical copy as I do nearly all my titles as a collector. This game visually is stunning. It’s very intense and is not for children. It’s about a Viking warrior dealing with her loved ones passing. The combat is not as frequent as I expected. Which isn’t a bad thing. It’s atory based driven. There are however plenty of puzzles. I for one didn’t have the patience so I YouTube most of them. The game is a satisfying action adventure. If you like puzzles it’s definitely for you. I would recommend Hellblade. There’s no game out there like it.

This is a fun albeit short game. The graphics are fantastic and the story is interesting. The combat is decent, but by the end it does get a little repetitive. The puzzles while interesting at first get a bit overdone by the end. Good play through though.

I can see why the game received many awards and it shows after playing it. Great story, graphics, etc. A bit short but it shows that great care went into this game when it was made.

The best way to play this game is defenitly with headphones. Game looks amazing.

There are many reviewers that have given this game a perfect rating. And in some respect, I would agree. The story is amazing. The voice work is second to none. Graphics- either the PS4 Pro or the XB1X are great. Gameplay is very good as well. I do recommend a playthrough and that is why it is 4 stars instead of 5 for me.... once you played this game; you are done. There is no reason to replay. Games like this are best on a game service like GamePass. Or if you can find it on sale/ clearance or Black Friday sale if you want to own.

Senuas is a thriller based on nordic mythos but the best thing about it is what it took to make it. The creators used actual psychologists in the making of this game to make certain the portrayal of the main character Senua was as accurate as possible. The game is slow. Mostly walking and puzzle solving. If that what your into it's a great game. However when the smaller combat sections appear its tough even on the easiest difficilty. A little bit of a rage game. A few times i had to reference an outside source to figure out how to defeat an enemy. Even still the overall experience was of joy and fun exploring the world. When the sequel comes out in the next year or two i would still buy it even with all the negatives i've mentioned. They just weren't enough for me to quit on this unique once a console generation experimental game.

As others have mentioned, the games approach to the subject of mental health disorders such as schizophrenia and psychosis is thoughtfully researched and implemented. This was reason enough for me to take a chance on the game. On the XBox 1, the graphics are stunning. Gameplay wise, the swordplay is compelling but challenging, though some of the games puzzles get maddeningly frustrating. Every bit worth your time, more of a Silent Hill/psychological horror title than a Resident Evil/action horror title. Even still, there’s nothing quite like it on the market.

Fun game to play. Very immersive, puzzles are challenging but it’s part of the experience they are trying to achieve in the descent of the psychosis of your player. A must play.

Great game. 4K looks amazing. Story’s good and the combat style is rewarding. Not a button masher.

One of the most moving experiences I’ve ever had in a game. Make sure to use headphones for full auditory experience as it’s VERY important to listen to voices/cues your tv won’t provide. Play this game blind without knowing anything. Combat is good, puzzles have their purpose and story is forever in my soul.

This game will surprise you with it's narrative, graphics and immersive world as well as top-notch voice acting and sound. (Best played with headphones!) While not very long, the game itself is more of an experience than most others I have played.

Hellblade hits all of its marks. From sound design, to story, to gameplay, it’s absolutely stunning. Playing as a character with schizophrenia, a good pair of headphones is essential here. Voices swirl around your head. It’s a special game.

This game offers some of the most fluid combat I’ve seen from an (at the time of release) independent developer. The campaign offers insight into mental illness while Simultaneously telling an intriguing tale. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys close quarters combat and/or fantastic story telling.

Under rated game! Wonderful visuals! Great gameplay! Don’t let this one slip under the radar!

Wasn’t for me. Didn’t care for the pacing, combat, puzzles, or story. Beautiful game though.

This was such a great game, any one who is into horror games will love this. It has a great story and I never seemed to get bored of the combat I would recommend this to anyone who loves a great horror game.
