This was just challenging enough. The directions could be a little bit more clear. But, overall, we got it figured out (did have to take things apart a couple of times, though!). I'd recommend this as a good project to work on together that ends with a kid having a toy to go play with.

This car was a bit too complex for my 4 year old but we sat down together and I showed him how gears work. Now he understands the concepts. You can pull the car back and it goes forward or lift up the top piece and let it go.

My son and I had a great time building it together. We were missing a piece so I called the manufacturer and they were very quick to respond and sent out the missing piece to us asap. Great service.

seems like a great toy for a child. he is 7 and is very involved in Lego toys. This seemed more difficult.
