Fun but Misses the Mark

But the linear gameplay takes away from the original concept of Pikmin. The cute factor is still there, which is nice. Additionally the bonus levels unlocked is irritating, making it feel like a cash grab for amiibo that have nothing to do with Pikmin.

Pikmin on the go
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was pleasantly surprised how well Pikmin translated over to 2D from 3D, but works really well and it so much fun. The game doesn't use stereoscopic 3D, but instead displays the game world on both the top and bottom screens, similar to some older DS games. Its fun to pick up and play a few levels at a time in short bursts.

Hey! Pikmin - Nintendo 3DS

Very fun game!

That is why I went ahead and purchased Hey! Pikmin. I think it works very well as a side scrolling kind of game. I really enjoy it!

Not like the console games but good.
