My 6 year old daughter is having so much fun as well as I am, I'm a big fan since the GameCube days now my daughter enjoys it on her 2ds, very well designed using the stylus for young kids who are used to touch screen games

Most games I play are long and take several days, if not weeks to finish, this one however is rather short. Now that doesn't mean its not a good game, but you'll probably get through it quickly.

“Hey, Pikmin” is the most disappointing 3DS game I’ve played on this system. While this could’ve fared as a standalone game that didn’t boast the “Pikmin” label, this was just a poor excuse of filler. The first problem with the game is that there is no strategy, whereas strategy is paramount to the other titles in the series. In this game, you have 8 worlds that are 6 levels each, and all you need to do is find the exit. It doesn’t matter how many Pikmin you lose, it doesn’t matter if you find secret paths or items or not, it all counts the same in the end. To be fair, you also have to earn what is called “Sparklium” which are, more or less, no different than any other game currency. You have to find 30,000 before beating the game. In an 8-world game, I achieved the Sparklium you need without even stepping foot in World 6. For the last 3 worlds of the game, I had no incentive to do anything but just beat the level. On top of this, the mechanics of this game are infuriating. Often, the DS wouldn’t read where I was trying to fling a Pikmin and would send him flying to his death, or other times, it would fling a Pikmin when I was trying to press the jetpack button instead. There were times I had to pause the game and put the console down to just breathe. At the end of the game, it doesn’t matter if you kept 50 Pikmin alive or 50,000. It’s all the same in the end, and doesn’t help you to keep them alive. Also, the Pikmin’s “strength,” which was a crucial part of past games, does nothing here. Yes, they bud flowers like normal, but their strength is negligibly different. Lately, Nintendo fans have been crying and moaning about the way Nintendo ignores and disrespects their fans. “Hey, Pikmin” is the punctuating mark on Nintendo’s laissez-faire attitude towards its fans.

Pikmin games have always been one of my favorites and will support the franchise whenever possible. I would like to see another version come to the console. This is a fun game and like playing on the go with the 3DS.

Added this to my nintendo 3ds game collection before. Taking me back to the gamecube days although in 2d.

I bought this game for my kids to get familiar with the Pikmin series and it worked. This game is more focused on platforming and less time management but still very fun. I enjoyed the game as well.

Again, Best Buy has been a great place to keep a look out for games that haven’t been bought in a while.

This is a great addition to the pikmin franchise and what it lost in complexity going from 3d to 2d it makes up for in mobility as now I can play it anywhere

I bought this game for my son. He has been playing this game for a while and he does not want to put it down. this is a game for boys and girls no more than 11 years old.

My kids and I love this game. It's challenging enough for me but forgiving enough for the kids. Well worth your time if the idea of a Pikmin play former is appealing to you.

This game is great. I thought I wouldn't get used to using the sylus during the game play, but it's easy to do. Loved all the Pikmin games and this one does not disappoint.

At first I was not sure about the game (due to the side scrolling), but after playing it I really like it, the use of the dual screen is a great adition, totally worth it

Even though this game is not as good as the console version, I still enjoyed it. It's a side scroller with touch controls that were responsive.

My son was excited to hear that Pikmin was being released on3DS, and this game has not disappointed. It's a little easy, but still a nice game.

This is a fun game to play. I love this series and wish they made more Pikmin games.

this games is 2d but not as challenging as the 3d game pikmen one two and three biut stil fun to play a little on the easy side

Great game so far. Very fun and simple controls. Hopefully I am not missing much by not using an ammibo because I don't want any. I'm a grown person.

Hey Pikmin is a new game in the series which takes some different approaches. It's 2D instead of 3D and puzzles can be very simplistic.

I played Pikmin 3 in Wii U before. Hey Pikmin is kind of like Pikmin 3 with 2D dual screens and use the stylus pen using tap in 3DS. It is a very fun game.
