Posted .Thanks for your feedback. Per industry standards, 4L refers to the size of the backpack, not the size of the bladder. The size of the bladder is 2L.

Please be careful and read the instruction on how to fill and how much water to fill otherwise you can make a mess. The backpack is made from water resistant materials, so its not the end of the world if you do make a mess.
