Hisense 3.1 sound bar with wireless subwoofer was easy to setup with my Hisense Roku TV was done automatically using the EARC hook up. Sounds Great. Would definitely recommend this for any TV setup.

I bought this as a gift for my technology challenged brother. Set it up at our families Christmas gathering and wasn't very impressed, but it was noisy and not a good scenario for evaluation.
So I went back later and made sure that everything was connected properly. Connected the dish receiver to the soundbar and the HDMI out to the HDMI eARC port on his TV.
I wasn't sure that the Subwoofer was even working. Re-paired it to the soundbar, still not getting any thump to speak of. Moved the Sub closer to the soundbar, which may have improved it somewhat. It is a large Subwoofer, but all I could get is a sometimes mild thump, but mostly just a muddy drone.
Tried a lot of action movies on both Netflix and Amazon where I knew good Dolby codecs were available. The soundbar itself seemed alright, but if you want a Subwoofer, I would look to another brand.
Sorry Hisense, but unless there is something wrong with this particular unit, you need to go back and reevaluate this 3.1 channel Soundbar.

I would have kept this soundbar if the subwoofer didn’t sound awful. With eARC enabled on my LG C1 it popped and sounded boomy, just terrible. Wouldn’t have kept even if free, that’s how bad the subwoofer sounded. Too bad because the bar itself sounds good, with its center channel. The huge font that displays current input was kinda weird. Should be smaller. So much potential with this product.

Defective subwoofer?

The soundbar itself has pretty decent sound probably due to the dedicated center channel speaker. However, the subwoofer is probably defective. After confirming, and re-confirming that the subwoofer was paired and connected it barely outputs any bass even with the bass set to +5. I emailed Hisense regarding the subwoofer to give them the opportunity to address the issue but will ultimately return the soundbar if the volume of the subwoofer cannot be improved.

Horrible to say it’s a 5.1 sound bar
The sound is muffled the subwoofer doesn’t put out that much of bass , to say the sound goes to 100 max it sounds as if it’s at 50
You have to sync it to the tv every few days because it doesn’t come on everyte you turn the tv on.
Poor sound quality a waste of money

Worth it if you want a completely immersive audio experience, ATMOS is the real deal. Installation using earc was easy. Remote is basic but has the features you need. 1st time purchase of Hisense. Very pleased.

Don’t buy this product. My first one didn’t work. I had to return it. Hisense sent a second one and it doesn’t work properly either. Hisense now wants me to return the second one to be repaired. I just want to send it back and have my money returned. I’ve made multiple calls and have been unable to to speak with someone who can make the decision to to take back this defective product and reimburse me.
