I bought this tv not expecting much. I bought the TV for a steam link and Netflix feature and it runs smoothly. For sound it's pretty loud out of the box so I'd dial down the audio. For music though I would avoid or change the settings as the bass is sorta boosted and distorted and clips. I don't know if that's the music I listen too but it doesn't really work well with rap or bass heavy music otherwise it is great. It's input lag for gaming is average but you aren't buying this TV for competitive play. the TV is bright and clear enough for me at 720 and 60 frames. So all in all buy this TV for a college student or person in a small apartment in your life

Just like your Android phone but with bigger screen. The response are little slow but isn’t a big deal. For the price it is a great deal.

I purchased two of these TVs to connect to google assistant. To use this function you must purchase a different remote from Hisense! There is no way to access the assistant otherwise so the tv really doesn't have google assistant, it has google assistant capabilities. The TV itself is okay, some programs are laggy but screen quality is okay and can connect to my Bluetooth headphones. Hisense is on the naughty list for false advertising.......and yes I called customer support.

First things first: I'm not sure why this is listed everywhere (not just here) as a 720p panel, when it's actually 1080p. (Every device I've thrown at it reports back that it's 1.4 HDCP with a 1080p resolution. Even my Roku, which won't go above the maximum resolution the panel is.)
It's very nice, visually. Colors are bright, the sharpness is maybe a little too sharp, but the color features are top notch. Various color temps, 11 point white balance system, even a flesh tone adjustment.
Audio is... Okay. It has DTS TruSurround (sounds great!) and a volume limiter (might be necessary) as well as a 5-point equalizer (and various "preset" modes.) The speakers are quite loud, even at a quarter of the way up, but they get raspy and crackle at that point and suffer the most from music, but voice/regular TV sounds just fine. (I'd recommend using Bluetooth speakers, headphones, or even a soundbar/speaker system instead.)
2x HDMI
1X Component/Composite
1x Coax
2x USB (says 5v, .5a, but I believe it's 5v, 1a as it runs Chromecast and Roku devices just fine, no power brick required.)
The included remote is nice with direct feature buttons for YouTube, Google Play, etc. It does not have a microphone/voice control, even though the TV asks you to set up Google Assistant. (This is more for using your phone as the remote/microphone, really.)
The Android TV platform plays really well with this unit. It's surprisingly snappy and quick for a budget unit. It only has 5-6 GBs of internal storage (out of the box, it's 4.5 available) so you might want to plug in a flash drive for extra storage. I'd recommend turning on developer options (go to "build" in the settings and tap it 7 times) and disabling animations in that menu. Don't play with any other settings in there, though. It'll be just fine with the animations being the only modified thing in that menu.)
In the interest of full disclosure, I was able to purchase this as an early Black Friday deal via Best Buy and the BF price of $80.00 is a no-brainer. Makes for a great bedroom or office TV. At regular price, a bit iffy because you could spend more and get a 4k for not a lot more in terms of MSRP.
Still, though, I'm really impressed with this model and I do recommend it.

We got this TV on BF for $80, and we have been very happy with it. For the money paid, it is an incredible value.
We have not really used the Android TV features other than setting up the Chromecast functionality (which works fine).
We prefer to use our Roku, which I plugged in to one of the HDMI inputs and has been working great. As another reviewer already mentioned, the Roku recognizes this TV as 1080p rather than the advertised 720p. Either way, the images are very good.
The only downside that we've run into so far is that it takes a bit long to start up, but other than that, we are very satisfied with our purchase, and the price was really unbeatable.

Bought 2 of these Hisense smart TV's on Black Friday sale for $80 a piece. Set up was pretty easy. Using the TVs primarily with Netflix and YouTube TV. Picture is clear. Can't beat the price. Only gripe is that the stand (legs) are pretty cheap and didn't easily screw into the TV. I will be wall mounting these soon anyway so that's no longer an issue.

We had 2 older 32” TVs at home - a Samsung plasma and an Insignia. We made some changes, and the Insignia is now mounted in my wife’s salon, and the Samsung is used to watch TV outside (it is not stored outside). We have a dedicated mount for a 32” in our bedroom - so that is what we were shopping for. We wanted a Smart TV. I had used every other Smart TVs besides an Android TV. But on a special at 79.99, we figured it was worth a shot. The store associate didn’t even know that they had it! - always use your trusted Best Buy app. The TV has amazing picture quality for the price, and the Android TV is stripped down, which I actually like. It works pretty quickly and smoothly. I am happy with the purchase. This is a great buy. If I had to complain about something, it would be nice to have a few extra A/V ports. But that is being really picky. Side note: I always buy my TVs from Best Buy. They have never let me down.

Very easy to set up and program. Simple navigation through channels. Tv itself is thin and lightweight. Picture quality is great and sound is amazing. Remote control is small and easy to use, also you can use your phone as a remote. This tv comes with built in roku witch is awesome because there are lots of channels and movies. Also this tv has automatic update which is great. Another feature is game mode, awesome because our family love playing video games. Overall it's a great quality tv with a lot of different features. I definitely recommend this tv for a budget.

Great TV! I looked at other lower priced units in this category but bought it due to the excellent viewing angle. We are using it in a bedroom mounted up on the wall and it has exceeded all expectations. Ease of set up, sound, color and resolution is excellent. I use a Roku streaming device and it set up fine and am able to use the Roku remote control for sound and channels.
Also enjoy being able to use the Google account link and view music videos . I highly recommend for bedroom or medium size room.

I got this TV after another one costing twice as much failed to live up to expectations. This Hisense TV did the opposite -- it exceeded them! The picture is crisp, the colors are delightful, and the sound is about as good as one can get in a 32" TV. The other TV lost its Wi-fi signal more than it kept it, whereas this one rarely does.
This is just about the largest size I'd want for a TV in my bedroom, so I expect only basic utility even in a smart TV. But with this item, the sound actually seems to come from invisible speakers on the walls. I can compare the picture to what I see when I go to the big-screen cinema.
I haven't yet tried all of the features (such as hearing through headphones or external speakers via Bluetooth), but overall I'm considering this one of the best TVs I've ever owned.
The only downside I've experienced is the challenge of setting up the menu the way I like it, but I probably will be able to figure that out before long.

Purchased because it fit (exactly) where I needed it so I could use an ethernet connection in lieu of wifi. Most other tv's I looked at were taller. Works well and the picture is good. Menu is a little more clunky than my Roku tv's. However, Roku has a wimpy remote where the Hisense remote is full featured - I like that since I watch both antenna tv and streamed tv.

Tv looks good, very light. we placed it under the stairs to create a space for the kds to hang out. very happy that the wi-fi is strong enough to go under he stairs without any hard wiring. picture is good, not great, but for less than $100 it well worth it and more than good enough for the kids. it was very easy to set up as well. I really wanted an android tv and this was the best value i found.

Overall good tv. Decent audio quality, 720p fits the smaller screen size well, streams everything well. Only issue I have with this tv is how slow it is to start up when I turn it on. It will sometimes take 3-5 seconds to register a single input from the remote and it can get annoying, especially if I'm just trying to browse a menu. Patience is necessary for this tv.
