It has an excellent picture, easy to use, plenty of HDMI ports, and great sound. It's light and very easy to carry. Great buy!

This television has a really clear picture and sound. We were a little hesitant of purchasing HiSense since we honestly had not done any research or heard of this brand. There also wasn't a Hisense brand to view on display. But, we were willing to give a "new" brand to us, a try. We have been pleased with the purchase.

I did no research before purchasing but I am happy with what I got picture looks great and easy to get started

I bought this tv for my master bedroom and I have to say I love it. Great picture, great sound and looks great mounted on the wall.

I purchased 2 of this item online and had it shipped to the store. Upon arrival we received notification in a very timely manner. My daughter went to the store, they opened the box to check for physical damage which there was no visible damage. After Christmas the TV was mounted on the wall and plugged in. When powered on lines appear on the screen that look like a cracked screen. Best Buy would not take this in return as there was a hidden "must return by" date that we did not see in the receipt. I contacted Hisense who gave a case number and requested I send pictures. From the pictures they have determined there is physical damage and will not honor any warranty. I am extremely dissatisfied with Best Buy and Hisense. I can purchase elsewhere.

Screen size, features, picture quality, sound quality all are very very nice. The price was even nicer. This TV rivals TV's in the $259 to $359 or higher range. Yes it's not a so called "smart TV" but most TV that claim to be smart Tv's under $400 seem to be kinda limited in their "smartness" anyways. Most in that price range only offer a few specific preloaded apps anyways. For the money I really don't think you can buy a better 40" TV/monitor anywhere. I will definitely be looking into Hisense for larger screen models with faster refresh rates. The 40" I got has a standard 60HZ refresh rate and that's fine (if it had a 120 rate it be really excellent). In all honesty I realy wish I would have bought 2 because I am finding that they are now sold out at most Best Buy locations.

In the market for a bedroom TV, have always been a loyal Sony customer, looking to upgrade living room TV around Christmas and needed to save as much as possible to apply to that purchase. Researching brands and saw that Hisense had purchased Sharp, thought I would look at their offerings and was blown away by the quality of picture, not a lot of bells and whistles but could not be happier with picture for the price, that along with Best Buy customer service and I was sold.

I'm impressed with the picture and the quality of this TV and very reasonable price! Makes a great TV for your room or for gaming TV which I bought for my kids. I would definitely recommend this for somebody who wants a great TV reasonable price.

This is the best TV we have ever had. Crystal clear. Color spectrum is beautiful. Loud sound if wanted. No soundbar needed unless you want top notch extreme sound. Extremely easy to set-up. The initial menu set-up very straight forward and easily understandable. The YouTube is just fantastic to watch concerts, or listen to full albums the entertainment options is limitless. Just the best!!!!!!!!!!!! Customer service is superb the wait is rather short to speak to a representative for any issue you may have. Very pleasant and knowledgeable. Highly recommended

I bought this TV because my $2500 Samung broke on me within 4 years. I wasn't going to spend that again on a TV for the bedroom. I went cheap $199.00 for a 40 inch and honestly. Picture isnt that less clear than the Samsung and the Sound is much better than the Samsung. So far I would recommend this TV to anyone. If and when my other Samsung breaks. I will purchase the Hidense 65 inch 4K model. I hope this review was good for you.

I had heard and read a lot of great things about Hisense when I started to look for a TV for my bedroom. I actually own a Sharp TV that I love, and when I heard they were now the same company I was interested to learn more. You really can't beat the under $200 price tag for a 40" 1080p, and since I already owned a smart bluray player I didn't need this to be a smart tv. Long story short, awesome picture and really incredible sound, the reviews don't lie. I would buy this ten times over again, and I have a feeling the price tag for this brand will be going up once the name becomes more well known (I ended up paying $170 because it was on sale, unbelievable).

The Hisense brand is an unfamiliar one, so some extra research was necessary before purchase. Finding nothing really amiss about the company, my roommate and I gladly split the less-than-$200 40" flat screen television. The picture is great, glare is hardly an issue even though the screen faces a glass door, external hookups are easy to manage, and we have had no technical problems so far after nearly constant use for weeks.

I wanted to replace a 39 inch Insignia, that died after a year and a half. It is for a bedroom, so I was looking at lower priced televisions, and the Hisence fit the bill. I am so glad I gave the Hisence a chance. This television is great, and for more then just a bedroom. The picture quality is sharp, the colors are vibrant and the sound is really nice.

I've been looking to upgrade my old HDTV in my man cave. I have a lot of video game consoles and while I still use an old CRT set for my older consoles, I wanted this new HDTV to have component inputs and hopefully VGA as well (for my Sega Dreamcast). Not only did this TV have those inputs, but also 3 HDMI ports. I also didn't care about having a Smart TV either since my newer game consoles give me the apps I want. When I started my search for a TV however it was hard to find a non-Smart TV, especially over 32 inches. What I could find usually had a max resolution of 720p. When I found this TV I was pretty much sold. It's still early, but so far everything is working great. The sound isn't that great, but that is typical these days since the speakers are on the bottom of the set. I'll look at picking up a soundbar this Christmas more than likely. Picture is great. Bright, vibrant and beautiful. It's a great upgrade over my old Olevia TV. The Hisense name may not have the name recognition of other manufactures, but so far I feel I got a great deal.

This TV has great Sound. This is the first TV I have found that does Not need any extra help with sound. The picture quality cannot be beat. The reception is a little difficult. I tried another TV with the same antenna and it captures channels much better than this one for some odd reason. It would really get 5 stars if it had manual buttons like Best Buy's brand. If this TV does have manual buttons I have not been able to find them yet. I could have spent a few more dollars and got a Smart Tv but I was shopping and the reviews on this TV changed my mind.

I didn't need smart TV functionality since I'm using a Fire TV stick. Size and quality for a bedroom TV is perfect, as is the price.

Brand was recommended by a co-worker. Needed prizes for a work Christmas party. Nice size, great price and a very nice television

I was so impressed with the 50" 4K Hisense that I bought, I decided to buy a second one. After using the two 50' tvs and having no problems whatsoever, I bought this 40' LED Hisense to use on the third xbox one in the game room... perfect! Much like the 50' I have a great picture and no problem with motion blur, color or contract; great picture, great performance.
