Overall, I'm quite pleased with this TV, especially considering the price. I was initially skeptical as I have no experience with this brand but the video quality has been superb. The audio quality is okay but definitely below the level of my Samsung LED TV. It was easy to set up and I've not noticed any dead pixels or problems in my time with the TV (a little over a month). Some of the cable connectors are hard to reach before they're located on the bottom of the back of the TV, but others are easily accessible because they're located parallel to the TV on the left.

I purchased the tv when it was on sale last week, great price for a 40" tv. When I attached the "legs" to it the tv leaned forward. I figured I hadn't tightened them enough so I took them off, put them back on, tightened the screws... same problem. I'm going to take it back to the store bcuz I think the legs are defective. I purchased one the next day for my dad & he had no issues with his tv. Guess I'm the lucky one. The picture quality on the tv is great! I was a little sketchy when I first installed it but all the kinks must be out of it now because the picture is very clear. The sound is outstanding. I have the tv in my bedroom, it's a fairly nice size, & even when I have the volume on level 2 I hear the sound crystal clear. I'd definitely recommend television! Well, I did & that's why my dad and my aunt both bought one.

I needed a new tv for my bedroom without breaking the bank. I was very hesitant about purchasing a brand I nor family members ever heard of before but after reading reviews on this tv I decided to give it a try. I'm very impressed with the picture and sound quality and how easy to set it up; I could not ask for more nor to change a thing ! It actually is better then the previous, more expensive tv I replaced. Unbelievable tv for the low cost ! Do not hesitate to make this purchase.

Went to buy another TV and found this one in the store on sale. Talked to the sales person that we were looking for just a basic simple TV to put a bed room for visitors. It has a great picture and sound. Easy to use and was easy to set up.

We purchased this Hisense LED TV because or old TV was on the way out. It was $189.00 on sale. I asked a Best Buy employee about these TV's and he said they were great, I took a chance on this brand and so far it's been a great TV. Excellent picture quality, amazing sound and plenty of input and output jacks. It performs like a television costing hundreds more. I don't know how Hisense does it, but it seems they are building great products at amazingly low prices. The packaging even comes with a letter from the CEO of Hisense Corporation thanking me for my purchase. Nice touch. The remote even comes with batteries. All around incredible deal!

TV has excellent picture and sound and is easy to navigate with the remote. I shopped around and this TV was the best priced 40 inch I could find that was well reviewed.

Bought this tv for a room we don't use alot and didn't want to spend alot of money. For the money it has a great picture and plenty of hdmi ports

I ended up wall mounting via external wall mount bracket. Basically, just plug in and turn on and it will scan for all available over the air channels and store. Easiest install yet and actually picks up more channels than my WestingHouse TV. Picture is crystal clear. I believe it comes with a three year warranty, not five years as I was told by Best Buy Supervisor.

This is almost as low as you can go with TV quality at this size, but that doesn't mean what it used to. The image on this TV is as good as just about any 1080p with a 60hz refresh rate. I'm a film nerd with multiple degrees in cinema (production and studies)—obviously, picture quality means a lot to me. But I am also fairly poor (as I said, I have two film degrees!). I was able to get this unit on sale for $150—an excellent deal. Although I wanted a similar Toshiba (better build quality), this one was 25% cheaper. Given that the picture is almost identical, I decided to use that 25% difference in price ($50) to buy a dozen (on sale) BluRays to watch on my new TV. If you know how to properly calibrate the TVs visual attributes, the picture can rival a TV that costs twice as much. If you're looking for advanced features (120+ Hz processing, Smart capabilities, 4k resolution), this isn't your TV. If you're looking for something capable of producing a cinematic quality picture at 40" for a great price, this is a fine option.

I wanted a decent size TV for my children's room. This is perfect on the wall. Nice and clear picture, sound quality is great.

So I decided to purchase this television for use as a computer monitor, and man, what a monitor it is!! People say that 40" is too big for a monitor, but that is sooo not true. The color is amazing, and as for sound, I have computer speakers which sound great so I don't need to use the on board speakers. For the price, you simply can't go wrong.

I loved the sharp, rich brightness of the color on this TV; definitely comparable to my Samsung but much cheaper. This is an amazing deal for the price. I was hesitant at first, unknown brand and all. But it was certainly the right choice. Takes a few seconds to start up, but works as good as any other TV. Great picture quality.

Great size for bedroom and easy set-up. Great sound!

This was a replacement I bought nearly ten years ago. I was skeptical of off brands in the beginning but they have made me a believer. Looks just as good as my big Sony in the living room, which by the way i've repaired twice. Don't expect all the bells and whistles but for this price I would recommend all day long.....
