Really decent Tv for what you pay. The picture is great. I had purchased a fire tv of similar specs and exact size. The picture quality of each were equal, but there was a lag in the operating system of the fire tv while using it to navigate anywhere so I returned and bought this unit. It was a great choice.

Excellent picture and sound. I would prefer an easier user interface. The remote that comes with the TV doesn't have digit buttons making it impossible to go directly to a particular OTA channel. The onscreen menus and remote seem a bit inconsistent and difficult to navigate at times, but this may be due to the large number of streams available on Google TV. I would like a better (more complete) user manual either with the TV or available online.

Overall this TV is pretty good. For the money it's definitely worth it but you do also get what you pay for. I use this in my home office and quality is decent. It can be a little sluggish at times but that's unfortunately normal for TVs running their own OS. Usually if I reset it then it speeds back up for a while. Would recommend for anyone on a tight budget or for a kids room.

For $160, depending on sales, this TV is hard to beat as a primary TV if your space is limited, or as a second TV elsewhere. Everything functions as it should, picture is good, sound is decent but you're never going to get great sound from such a small speaker. Best of all it has a LAN port, as most smaller TVs lack that feature. I prefer LAN over Wi-Fi connection. I also spent time routing the cable through the basement and drilling through floors, so I'm going to use it. I did not use the Google TV account or software, because it's a feature that I don't care about having. It's nice that I'm able to bypass it, but by doing so, I can't vouch for its performance. Everything else works fine, apps are easy to load and work as they should.

Absolutely love these Google TV's, and the Hisense brand ! Great price, easy set up and best of all, got to rid ourselves of the pricey cable TV bill ! The free and premium channels are too many to count. All and all we love our new TV and would definitely recommend to my friends and family

Historically I have not liked Hisense TV's but this was the correct size for our location and this product has been a pleasant surprise

I am using this as a large screen monitor for my PC. The size is great. The only thing I needed to do is go into the setting for aspect ratio and change it to none from automatic, auto it seems is default. I am not a gamer however, so I don't know if this would work well for gaming, but YouTube videos and streaming works just fine.

I am really enjoying this TV. For the class, the picture is very clear and crisp. The blacks are impressively dark and deep. The controls are more than adequate to adjust the picture and sound to personal tastes. I do wish the refresh rate was 120 Hz rather than 60 Hz. On digital antenna/broadcast, the picture will occasionally pixilate during action sequences or graphic sweeps. Personally, I would not recommend enrolling in Google TV on this product. When I did, many of the controls on the remote were disabled which rendered immediate control of the TV inoperable. I'm sure that these commands were still available within Google TV, but they were not, at all, obvious. Ultimately, I deleted the Google TV account (which required a completely new setup) and logged into Netflix and Prime Video through the buttons on the remote. This has worked perfectly, but for those with accounts/apps other than: Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Disney+ or tubi (buttons on the remote), this might be a concern. This is a very good TV for the price, but a confusing Google device.

Good picture and great value. Easy to install and set up

I purchased this 40" Smart TV for a 10'× 11' size bedroom. The user wanted the Google operating system. It was simple to set up and pair with other electronics. It is not a 4k TV but it does have a beautiful 1080p screen 6resolution and aTV tuner to use with an OTA antenna. It is a good value TV for the features.

I use it in the bedroom paired with a fairly basic subwoofer system. And ohhhh boy, I'm loving it. I've been pleasantly surprised by how sharp the picture quality is and crisp too. Ok you probably need it facing away from direct sunlight but so do much more expensive sets. Honestly I have nothing to complain about here at this price point. This IS a Google TV - think of it as using a big android tablet with a remote control. Yea absolutely loving it!

Great quality, good HD television. This television is good for an apartment to watch television or/and play console games.

Great picture quality. Set up instructions could be way clearer and while you can program your cable remote to turn this TV on and off, your remote can't select whether you want TV, Netflix, You Tube, etc. Minor things but overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase....especially for the price!

Excellent color. Perfect shape for any portion of home or work. Tremendous value.
