Color and sound is amazing but i hate the remote! It is huge and NOT backlit. The good thing is it will harder to lose. It comes preloaded with all the apps. I have not set up the antenna to watch the fre Vidaa so i have to reset often.

It’s been merely a month since my purchase but my daughter seems to love her new TV. She did want more apps than the VIDAA OS offers, so we attached an Apple TV HD. It works great. The picture is fantastic for 1080p. She already had a soundbar and it had no problem hooking up to the TV with an optical cable.

I bought this TV for my home studio so I could watch various streaming content including You Tube tutorials. NOTE: I include important information RE: Wall Mounting this TV below. The TV itself was very easy to set up taking less than 20-minutes and has a very good image quality. The sound quality is okay with the built-in speaker and has several preset adjustments available. Since this TV is only for my studio I did not need a sound bar which I believe would make this TV sound much better. Regarding Wall Mounting this TV, be advised the VESA pattern for this unit is 100x200, I had to call Hisense Tech Support for this information. Their Tech Support BTW is very good and was available on a Saturday afternoon. DO NOT PURCHASE the Kanto Wall Mount Kit as recommended on the Best Buy website. It is NOT compatible with this TV unless you want to somehow mount the TV sideways. The Best Buy store I went to did not carry the compatible wall mount kit in stock however, they did find and suggest the correct wall mount kit at Wall Mart (Onn Wall Mount Kit, about $30) I have included images of my installation which also shows the recessed Duplex I added to hide cabling inside the wall. When I saw a 40" HDTV for $150 at Best Buy, I thought I just found a gem. It isn't on display in the store, so if you don't look online you wouldn't even know they have it. The item was on sale for $100 off, so this was originally a $250 HDTV that I'm getting for $150. What a steal, right? Well, kinda. It's honestly a really nice looking TV. It's clean and sharp. But when I put on a movie, I quickly realized why it's a $150 40" HDTV. It has limitations in terms of it's processing power. Definitely not for movies or gaming. I'm currently using it in my shop as a display that's nice to look at but serves no real purpose. On YouTube they have REALLY slow moving 4k screensavers that play music and give ambient sound. That's pretty much when this TV shows it's worth. Overall, this isn't the entertainment center piece you want to show off to your friends. But to pop this is the guest room, this is a great product (for the price). And I recommend it, I would even consider getting another one. *You may want to upgrade to PC speakers though.

Picture is great and nice size for the bedroom. I needed it for the room I’m fighting cancer and QT for 7 days. Can’t be around anyone not even my dog. So thinks take care hope to be shopping soon too.

Nice TV that we use on our deck. Keot it out out there for the winter under gazeebo and had no effects from the cold. Great apps and easy to use. Ordered online was easy and unit was ready as promised for pickup.

Excellent full HD picture, great tv sound and volume, easy operating system, what is there not to like really? The only thing I can come up with really that is less than I would have liked its only two HDMI inputs. That only allows for two accessory items to be connected. I will have a Blu-ray player connected but also like to use a game system and use the tv for a monitor for my laptop. I can however change systems easy by changing cables. All in all this is a really good tv and one of several Hisense models I have owned. I have another set with Roku on it but each system seems to have its own best points too. This set was super easy to set up and has excellent reception.

I was highly impressed with this tv. The sound quality is amazing and so is the picture. The free smart app account offers free shows and tv and connects seamlessly to other stream applications. Great picture quality and scene options, large amount of CC options and personalization! Well worth the price

TV has great quality! Still in great condition after using for almost 3 years. I would get the same brand but bigger once i'm ready to upgrade tv in my bedroom but for now this will do.

Television has great picture and sound. Remote comes with batteries and is easy to understand with large buttons. It was easy to hook up and I have no complaints. Also pickup was easy and the employee that brought the item to my car was super friendly and helpful.

This is a good buy for the cost. The interface could use some work but for the price quality of the picture and size it was an awesome purchase.

The picture quality on this hisense a4 40" Vidaa hdtv is fantastic. This is mainly used as a spare tv for me, but regardless i am also very impressed with the sound and i don't need a soundbar. I have the sound at 5 or 6 and it's loud enough. The only minor issue for me is the thin bezel on top. Great tv overall though.

TV setup was easy - VIDAA setup was painless. Great picture, and kudos for Youtube TV magic button on the remote for my wife. Only issue I have right now is I dont see Hulu as a downloadable option, but I could be easily missing something.

Very nice tv! Only downside is no Hulu but it still does the job. Great for a small bedroom or office
