I’m extremely impressed with this tv. I accidentally broke my last 32 inch tv and I was without a tv for months before caving and buying a new one. I knew a 40 inch would be perfect for my room size; all I had to do is chose the brand. I discovered this tv after googling 40 inch tvs and choosing the cheapest but best tv quality I could find. I got this tv for $250 on sale, and here are my pros: 1. I saw a couple people mention the sound wasn’t great but for me personally putting it past volume 40 is too loud!! (Which is a good thing— I’d rather have too loud than too quiet) 2.The picture quality is very vibrant and crisp 3 the VIDAA app to control your tv from your phone is amazing 4. Nice size tv for a medium sized room CONS: 1. Leg stands that came with tv are pretty wobbly so I’m going to replace them with my old TVs stands 2. I cant figure out how to remove black bars on top and bottom of screen when I’m on YouTube , but that might be more of a user issue than the tv itself 3. I wish the tv came with Hulu preprogrammed but I already had a Roku so it’s okay

I purchased this tv set for my daughter and her roommate to use in their college apartment. I found it to be a good value for the price. The size fit perfectly in the space, it was easy to set up, and connected right away to the wifi. Will serve them well.

Do not get this TV if you use HULU, FUNIMATION, or HBO MAX. The older OS on this tv does not allow those apps to be installed. Netflix, youtube, prime video, disney+ are on the Tv at least. But seeing how i pretty much use all streaming apps, i was not happy to see the limitations on this tv. The image is great dont get me wrong, great tv if you are just gonna plug in with hdmi for your pc/laptop or use cable/satellite. But dont get this if you use several streaming apps.

Great tv for sound and picture. For a smart TV you cant download certsin apps and i had to buy a fire stick just to get Xfinity app and Hulu amd others. The remote is not user friendly. Never opened the box til I moved some 20 days later and coudnt return it. Wanted to be able to just have 1 remote but I have 2. Thinking about chunking thos TV to get a roku TV. So disappointed

TV is pretty good for the Price, definitely not the best out there for picture but definitely does the job and very content with this TV. I'm over a year in and still has been pretty solid. I'd recommend using a fire stick or Roku since the Vidaa seems outdated and a bit laggy when i first got it. But overall good TV for the Price!

Great tv, easy to use, and fantastic picture. Super thin and not too heavy.

It’s a cheap tv and it works ok in the bedroom. It has plenty of features. Using it with a Roku stick and it does freeze up once in awhile and you have to unplug it. The picture is ok most of the time but like I said nothing special. Been a year and no problems. So for the price nothing to complain about.

This TV is by far the best TV that we've ever purchased. It has a lot of features and the picture is very outstanding. You can also turn the screen off while you play music in the background. This TV is also great with sound and it's amazing to play your game system on. I would recommend this TV over any TV I've had the big TVs it cost a lot of money and this TV is by chance the best one we have purchased.

Great for TV this size. I bought off sale for my daughter’s bedroom. It fit great and is a very light TV. So far it is working great. The only thing that I’m still working on is trying to download other apps. I was not able to download the spectrum tv app which is pretty disappointing but otherwise seems good so far.

Decent image quality, sound is slightly tinny. VIIDA smart OS is not great, just use an Apple TV as the conduit there. But excellent value because it was super cheap and works well for situation (spare bedroom TV).

Good and easy to use and very good quality and colors and graphic and worth it as price point of view

This Hisense 40" Smart TV is a great value. We boiught it for our bedroom and wish we had a larger version in our livingroom. The picture is great and paired with the Insignia 2.0 mini soundbar is a very satisfying system. I highly recommend the Hisense brand.

Excellent condition we received the tv very quickly. No problems setting the tv up. We purchased it for the bedroom. Very light i was able to pick it up easily and set it up all on my own. Lol. Definitely Recommend picture is just excellent.

Great Tv quality and gives you a lot of options for a low price tv

I actually got this TV to replace one that had been zapped by lightning. In that, it does its job well. looks great; even the internal speaker isn't that bad, though I still prefer a sound bar; Connecting it through the line out of the TV works quite well, and lets me control the sound bar's volume (by proxy) with the TV remote. Smart functionality works just fine, turning on or off and sometimes adjusting the volume; This is less firm due probably to programming of the Alexa skill. However, I am somewhat irked, however, by the fact that the Wi-Fi only supports 2.4 GHz instead of 5 GHz - there is also no wired/Ethernet connection, which I eminently prefer. Which leads me to a reason that I have decided to use an alternate device for my streaming as I shall state below. The VIDAA OS is OK, though as with all proprietary OS's that come with TV's, is, well, proprietary and thus limited. So, I am very glad that it comes with HDMI ports that I may plug in both my computer and my Xbox One X which I use as a streambox in lieu of this somewhat lacking VIDAA and no wired connection/5GHz Wi-Fi. The workflow of this TV is such that the Input signal you selected before power-off comes up as opposed to the VIDAA home screen, which is great and makes things a bit smoother. Yes, get this TV, but be aware of its shortcomings and make the best use of it that you can.

TV was under $200 and perfect for our Airbnb rental. Super light weight and easy to mount

We put this TV in our bedroom after the old one stopped being reliable about turning on and off. It is wonderful. The colors and clarity of the picture are amazing. Thank you for such a wonderful product with an amazing price.
