    This TV is glitchy and not working

    I have had so many problems with this TV. Google TV freezes when navigating through apps. It’s impossible to watch cable or play PS4 because the HDMI modes switch back to Google TV on their own. I’ve contacted Hisense and they have been no help. There are only so many times I can do a factory reset or update the firmware.

    I’d really think twice before I purchase a Hisense TV ever again. It’s clearly a budget TV but saving a few bucks on the purchase just for it not to barely last over the manufacturer warranty period isn’t worth it to me.

    Said it was "Open Box: Excellent" - it was missing a box, and it just came with the power cord. I doubt that falls under "excellent".

    Great Image Quality Compared to Samsung

    PROS: The image of this tv is as VERY good, great contrast and clarify compared to the Crystal version. I recommend. It is very easy to install and it uses Google TV. If you have Google O.S. on your cell, you can add apps from Google Play and it will add to your TV also. I found out that Google TV stopped apps purchases as of July 2024 but I'm still able to upload it. I had to call Hisense to fix one of the app issues. Only one year warrantee for parts, labor and tech support. Over all the tv works great. I like that it turns on right away. No lag. It works well with antennas and Wifi. No lag there either. This was the most economical TV I ever purchased compared to Samsung brands which I bought prior to this one (Crystal and image turned blurry after some time so the Samsung was returned). I just hope the updates for this TV will last for a while since Google is saying no longer supports Google TV which is the operating system of this TV. I recommend though if you don't want to spend a lot. Great image quality also. The sound is loud enough you don't have to use a sound bar. Extra Points there. Might not connect to a external sound bar though. It has Bluetooth also.

    Bought this a week ago. First thought, it was kinda bizzare on the setup. But once I got past that, well, The sound is pretty good lots of options and the color is actually very good. I have a 2yr old Hisense thats a AndroidTV/GoogleTV and has the full google play app/store baked in. I ccan also sideload anything onto it in a few ways. However I bought this Tv for my bedroom and its prefect except I soon realized that the system was very locked down. I tried to install some apps and the tv talked to me saying the app isnt compatible with this tv..lol. WHAT??? So I started freaking out and was about to take it back. But There is a browser app you can install that allows you to easily download and install ANY app almost to the tv. Now I have everything on it and it now functions just like my older tv. Love it. Now the other problem i was faced with when buying this was..How much storage does it have internally and the processor name and speed in it? Well I can tell you this, I believe its 12GB internal storage but youll have about 7 or 8GB free to use because the system takes up 4 or 5GB. But my older tv only has 4GB storage so this is almost double thank god. And according to instructions you can connect to the USB ports to create additional storage. I have yet to see a tv that says that but where it actually works. I do NOT know the processor installed in it nor the speed of it. I was kinda stumped and so where the best buy sales guys as they didnt have a clue as to those specs of this TV. they searched their site and the internet and nowhere on the Box or manual or online on anything even on Hisenses website they DO NOT list any Storage or Processor specs at all. Very strange considering like when i buy a phone i always NEED to know how much internall storage the phone has right..anyway I HIGHLY recommend this tv. But i only needed the 43 inch for my small room but for what $270 you can get the 55 inch. I would for sure buy that one at that price an amazing tv.

    I recently switched from Directv to YouTube tv, and needed to upgrade two TVs due to compatibility issues. I was pleasantly surprised to find these two 43” Hisense TVs with Google Tv for a very reasonable price. They have a bright ,clear picture, and they are very easy to navigate. The sound is great, and I don’t need additional speakers or a soundbar. I recommend this tv , and would buy this brand again.

I extend my sincere gratitude to Best Buy for their exceptional service and to HiSense for providing this remarkable device. Having utilized a 27-inch 2K monitor since March, I recognized its limitations in certain aspects. While this television is a budget-friendly option, it boasts impressive capabilities to effectively handle demanding tasks. Upon initial setup, the process took approximately 30 minutes. Attaching the stand was straightforward, but the initialization process, including signing in with Google and installing applications, consumed 25-30 minutes. For console gamers, it is crucial to adjust the HDMI settings to “Enhanced” mode to fully optimize performance. Initially, when connecting my PS5 to this television, it displayed 1080p resolution, which was disappointing. However, after researching online, I discovered an adjustment option for the HDMI port, which is accessible through the settings menu by pressing the play/pause button and navigating to the left. Interestingly, this television offers a remarkable gaming experience. Despite its advertised 60Hz refresh rate, it actually operates at 120Hz during gaming sessions. While I may have rambled on, I am confident in my assessment of this television. I have given it a 5-star rating and am pleased with my decision to purchase it after conducting thorough research. Once again, I extend my gratitude to Best Buy and HiSense for their contributions to this exceptional product.

    Probably one of the worst TV’s we have ever purchased. We have had it for less than a year and for the last month, it doesn’t allow me to watch cable. It auto switches the input to HDMI. The remote also has a mind of its own. I have spoken with their support on 3(now 4)different occasions and the issues persist. They told me that they do not replace the defensive TV but they will escalate the issue to another rep that knows more about troubleshooting and if they can’t fix it, will send a technician to my house. Save yourself the hassle/frustration and select a better company.

    worst TV Ever do not buy

    Absolute worst tv I have ever purchased. My last Tv by a superior brand survived 8 years, this started glitching out almost immediately. I have to unplug it almost every other day to cure frozen screens. Also, the app downloads are awful. Just dont buy. I've owned it roughly 16 months and tired of having to opt for my laptop for shows. Im on this site to buy a new tv right now
