Pros
- Great sound
- Great contrast and colors (once adjusted to your liking of course)
- Great response time in game mode
- Decent controller and build quality
Cons
- Darker lighting/tone at all 4 edges of screen (probs backlight issue, not really noticeable if not on completely gray black or white screen)
- Laggy!! (everyone says this, but it’s super slow thankfully I use my Xbox to stream media)
- Non replaceable power cord (as far as i can tell it’s connected inside the tv so if you break it you can’t replace it)

Colors are great and sound is good and picture is really good for gaming and streaming. Only problem I found is the google android remote is slow and cant find apps I was looking for even when liked tv to my phone google account. Lucas oil tv and flosports couldn't find for tv but can have on my android phone. So basically bought an android tv to plug my firestick in which works alot better then using tv as smart tv.

Overall the TV is good for anyone who is looking to upgrade to 4K. Android TV OS can be slow at times and the built in Chromecast is nice on paper but with the "built in" version of Chromecast, which this TV has as do many others, you are limited to a "Wi-Fi Only" casting. While I was able to get it to work 1 out of 10 times casting from my iPhone (Android Phones have this problem too. Even tried my Tablets) while the TV was connected to my network via the ethernet port on the back it's just not reliable enough to even recommend using it. If someone asked me "hey does this tv have Chromecast built in? I'd reply "no". If you plan on casting A LOT then just buy a Chromecast and a Ethernet adapter made for Chromecast, even if your TV has it built in. In my situation I was only ever going to use the casting feature to cast TV shows from the Spectrum TV app to my TV because it's not available on Android TV "yet". This is of course user to user basis regarding who needs this for that. That's really my only gripe with this TV other than there not being a "web browser" app included or even a decent one on the PlayStore was another let down. I'd love to have given it a better review if I was only talking about the TV itself and not the OS it runs on, Android TV in this case. Hisense is getting hurt in this situation due to partnered apps and features they include on their TVs not being up to task. Picture and Sound optiions are great but I was confused as to what format the TV opputs from the "Digital Optical Port". I bought this is a secondary monitor for my PC and wanted to connect it to my Home Theater and it works just fine and I even set it as my new Primary display. My receiver lacks a HDMI Arc port but does have a single HDMI and Single Optical port and that's it. So if you're in my sitruation look into "HDMI Audio Extractors" make sure to get something as close to the TV specs itself. For example "4K 60Hz HDMI Audio Extractor HDMI 2.0 5.1Ch Audio Splitter Converter HDMI ARC HDR HDCP2.2, HDMI 2.0 to Toslink Digital+Stereo Audio+HDMI Out"

Purchased device to use as a monitor for work at home. Almost the equivalent of the 4 1080p monitors I had at the office. Easy to use and work with. I prefer the Android OS to Roku. Tv has worked well the last year with the only issue being a firmware update issue that Hisense support provided the fix for. Overall it has been a good tv. It does require a USB flash drive to expand the memory capabilities

After traveling with it boxed for 1200 miles unit worked excellently first time. Just the right size for house and bright clear picture. Easy to setup almost all automatic by itself. Truly a smart TV, Comes with a lot of APPS on screen so just sign in and start watching. This is an android TV so you can download a VPN easily and get it to work.

I was initially concerned about reviews written by others who had purchased this tv about lag or other technical difficulties! I've had it for a while now while there is ocassional lag (hence the 4 stars) it is by no means a real problem. I noticed this be a problem that often occurs after just turning on but goes away quickly. The image quality of this tv is quite solid and definitely worth it for the price.

This is a great pick up if you're looking for a smaller TV with a 4K resolution and HDR. The brightness is pretty good and the Android TV is pretty snappy after a system update. Where the TV really shines is it's sound. It was very surprising to have a TV in this price range and type to have really nice full sound. Not it won't take the place of a sound bar but it will def do for a bedroom or office space.

This TV does an amazing job working with Android TV to ensure that all apps work and are updated. The main reason I’m giving it a 4 out of 5 is due to sometimes lagging behind and not responding to the TV remote properly. I do love the picture quality and the sound quality of the TV and recommend it to anyone that is tied in the Google ecosystem!

The picture is good, I don't know about the sound since this is used just to watch hockey games using. HUGE problem is the lack of Xfinity Stream app in the Google Play store on this unit, had to get a Roku stick to make it work.
The color is vibrant, and there has been no issue with any content streamed to this TV

Bang for the buck 43" PC Display

I use this as my office monitor. For the price, its an EXCELLENT value. SO much so, other coworkers have purchased the same display or have decided to upgrade to 43" to also benefit from all the screen real estate.
This monitor does NOT compare to my 43" Dell Ultrasharp 4320, but comparing a $900+ MSRP dedicated monitor, to a ~$205 43" 4K TV, would not be fair.
My Dell sits at home, since due to COVID-19, home is my primary workplace. However, for those 3-4 hours a week I am at the office, the Hisense is a welcome familiar screen experience. I can keep my Macbooks Moom preferences to remain as productive in the office as I am at home.
This displays colors and brightness is excellent, the pixel spacing makes it a little tough if you have a shallow desk, so prepare to need 36-48" to get the true benefit of this particular display (my Dell can be used at almost any distance due to excellent pixel density).
Overall, a strong recommend as a budget monitor. Absolutely wonderful for me who has to review large excel files, long long lines of code, dense firewall tables, route tables etc, for work.

The Tv itself is good, great picture quality, decent size and very good price for the size.
However, there are a few major flaws, especially when comparing TVs. For one the remote isn't backlit. So you can imagine buying a new Tv and you don't know any of the buttons yet is a little annoying. Also, it's VERY VERY bright. Even at night, the "night mode" is still very white and bright. As well as the volume, the lowest setting is still too loud and I haven't found any way to change this yet. The tv does lag when changing between apps and often times crashes as if the tv is a phone. I usually have to "force stop" whatever app it is, then load it back up again. Which again is annoying.

Was great while it lasted. Excellent picture and worked great with my computer as a monitor. Android OS would lock up and crash many times more than it should. Sometimes the would need to be hard power cycled to turn on. But past that, wow the picture was excellent. I could not believe it was a bargain TV it looked so great. Then it died 1 and a half years of use. After the warranty expired too. Now this TV is done. I am saddened because even the use and experience was poor, the picture was excellent.

I was very pleased with this TV when I first bought it. The picture and sound quality were both great. But the picture and sound quality do me no good if I can't watch it! I have three issues with this TV that make me regret choosing the Hisense Android TV.
First, that the TV just shuts down and restarts whenever it feels like it. I'm watching a show and, without warning, it freezes up, shuts down and restarts. Second, much like the first, for no reason whatsoever, the TV just stops and shoots me back to the home page... no warning, or reason/error message given. The third, and the most frustrating issue, is when it the TV freezes and the remote looses all communication with the TV. I have no way to change channels, switch apps, or turn off the TV. Since it freezes, I'm thinking it's going to reset itself or pop me back to the home page, but no! The power button on the TV itself also quits working, so the only way to get the TV to turn off and work again, is to unplug it from the wall and allow it to reset itself.
I chose the Hisense TV because I had a 55" TV that I had for several years and had no issues, so I felt confident and comfortable about purchasing a newer smart TV that had good reviews. I am sorry that I made the choice and am seriously thinking about replacing it already and I've only had it for a little over a year.

This is a very great TV with 4K Ultra HD and delivers very more than four times the resolution of a regular 1080p. This TV have a LED backlight at work to create a sharper, more colorful picture. This TV comes with Android TV, android tv is a total entertainment hub and brings comprehensive content, including more than 4,000 apps and games to the biggest screen in your home to watch and discover movies, tv shows, music, and games. This TV have Dolby Vision HDR and HDR10 to transforms your TV into an entertainment powerhouse, using the same image technology from cinemas to provide amazing realism.

This is a new brand for me. It has taken some time to find the numerous "hidden" features and they were worth the hunt. Since up to this point I have been strictly Roku, I took a chance for a new bedroom TV. It suits my purposes and I have even been able to add a browser that is easy on my older eyes, lol. It just may be that I have not accessed all available Google apps yet, but it works well with a good picture. Viewing from side angles is not as good as straight on, unlike my much more expensive 4k TV. Overall, a good purchase.

This thing is like kinetic art: absolutely gorgeous, but there's no response to you or anybody else, and it moves too slowly to keep my interest anyway.
The picture is stellar, the build quality is perfectly fine, and the price is certainly right, but my goodness is this thing unresponsive.
I specifically sought out an AndroidTV-based model because I so enjoy my big Sony model and the Chromecast with Google TV that I used on my old TV, and I wanted to keep that experience. Those other devices are all buttery smooth, with no lag at all between pushing the button and seeing the screen respond.
This Hisense unit though - get ready to wait, if it even responds at all before simply rebooting itself or freezing. The average time to wait for the first button press is 5-7 seconds. The second press is better, at 2-3 seconds, and subsequent presses in the same minute or two are fine, but if you like actually watching something that you might want to pause or something, prepare to have it listen about like a 3-year-old.
There are better TVs at this price point if you can deal with a different smart platform.
