The remote is easy to navigate and it was very simple to pair my cable remote with one touch of a button, no codes or any of that long process nonsense. The clarity of the picture is very crisp and bright. The initial set up was very quick and walked me through every step, no hassle. I really like that this TV is SUPER light weight, has hdmi hookups that I needed and also has the voice search feature on the remote :)

Glitchy, Freezes, LOW sound

The TV Glitches like no other, It freezes constantly like an old desktop computer, this is EVERYDAY. The TV remote would require you to press the power button about 30 times before it comes on, when it does the shows will freeze, or you'll hear sound but the picture is frozen. HULU on this TV is the worst. You'll need to setup your settings exactly how you want it, because it'll take you 30 minutes to change the volume settings the way it freezes and moves so slow. The fires-tick works better for the TV, it freezes way less, but still freezes, which is pointless to have a smart TV if you're going to attach an external device just for things to run smoother. ANNOYING, will never buy this brand of TV again. The volume stays on 100 because the TV isn't loud at all. If you have on a fan or AC it'll be kind of hard to hear,

I honestly didn't think there would be much of a difference between 1080p and 4K, but it is noticeable. It automatically adjusts the audio for whatever type of show/movie/etc you are watching, and works pretty well also. This was my first Android TV purchase. It was nice to have the ability to easily link my accounts just by using a google login. The price was too good to pass up, so I took a chance. Cons: My biggest complaint is the constant lagging of the apps. The remote control is Bluetooth, and maybe that has something to do with lagging controls. There are no controls on the television (aside from the power button). Unless I'm missing something, you're screwed if the remote breaks! Finally, the dark black colors could stand to be darker. I've noticed a few times where it just looks too bright for the scene. Maybe I need to tweak the settings, but out of the box, it could stand to see some improvement. Overall: Not great, but not terrible. You get what you pay for in the end...

Great TV but...

It runs okay, and freezes and reboot by itself sometimes. You can get a lot of apps at the play store, but it doesn't have a browser like my fire stick. The worse thing about this TV is that I can't connect my phone to the TV at all!!! I returned my first one because I though it was defective , but the second also doesn't connect to my phone. I have downloaded the Google app, the Hisense app and nothing, my tv won't show in my network. I have tried contacting Hisense, and they told me to contact google since it is a Chromecast built-in. What a joke since they are the one who manufactures the TV and it is impossible to get assistance with Google. I have tried all the web tutorials to try to fix the issue and nothing.

Great Hisense 4K Television

Great price and she loves the picture and the ease of use. We have purchased 3 Hisense's so far and have loved each of them. Great picture and sound and amazing prices. Plus, getting them from Best Buy makes it even better!! Our Go To Store for electronic purchases!!!

CONS: Like a WIndows PC it has some bugs. Freezes at times,having to hard restart. Gets slow and glitchy at times. Not even a year old.. :(

But since this past week that I've used it, it surprised me. Ever since setup the TV provides easy options to transfer things over from your phone such as apps and profiles. The UI is pretty simple and customizable. Picture quality for the price, I can't complain and was actually fairly satisfied.

Decent on a budget -- Deceptive advertised specs

What I was disappointed about is it seem that the motion rate technology is not adjustable at all and is "applied automatically based on what is detected by HDMI input" according to Hisense's tech folks. The problem is that I'm not noticing it. I like to have motion rate enabled to simulate 120fps when playing games. I have a Sony TV which allows me to enable and disable this feature and is quite noticeable. However, this isn't possible on the Hisense TV and I notice a very significant lack of smoothness when I play my PS4 on my Sony TV with "120" fps on vs the Hisense. If motion rate isn't even on your radar, then this thing is perfect for you; the only thing that might be tough for some users who don't expect it is that Android TV on this hardware can be pretty slow without modifications.

I suppose a purist would go with an external soundbar or sound system, but it's more than good enough for my den. The apps work well and connect easily via WiFi or ethernet. I was surprised to not find a physical on-off button on the screen itself but the remote works very well.

The tv is always saying it’s running out of memory so some apps need to be removed? Then why have the option to add so many in the first place? It should not let you add any more once you have reached your memory limit. Other than that, the picture looks great and sound is awesome ... was surprised especially considering the price. Highly recommend

The costs was about even but the picture quality for the blacks and colors was better in my opinion, and other reviewers and the features were great. This is a "smart" TV with more functionality than many people need. I definitely recommend it.

Love that it will automatically switch to my bluetooth earbuds when I turn them on so I can watch TV without disturbing my wife if she's sleeping, but then the sound switches back to the TV speaker when I shut off the ear buds. All automatically.

So far it's been a nice tv
