I purchased this to replace a 32" tv. I mostly playing video games on my Xbox one, watching movies/tv series from iTunes/Hulu/netflix and listening to music on it. I like it when you listen to music you and put the timer on and put it on audio only. The sound quality is great when you or it changes from music to theater or one of the others.

The display quality, especially on dark scenes, shows a lot of banding, but for the price I won’t hold that against it. Reasons I wouldn’t buy again (or any Hisense TV for that matter): the software seems buggy (slow, freezes often, randomly restarts TV). I’ve owned it just over two years, and it’s worked alright (considering the previous issues I mentioned). Based on my research and troubleshooting, I think it kicked the bucket. It won’t turn on and power-cycling (unplug for 60s and hold TV power button for 15-30s) didn’t fix the issue.

Nice picture and setup when it works

It also has a tendency to freeze.. kind of disappointed honestly. But it’s already up on the wall and my boyfriend refuses to take it down..

Could not figure out how to download AT&TTV. When entering data onscreen, the “enter” key is not obvious. The tab symbol is the enter key. Great idea to put the letters and numbers in sequence instead of the typewriter configuration.

Low priced decent quality 4K TV.

I was looking something reasonable price-wise and Hisense was it. The main issue is the software is slow and sluggish. I disabled all the previews and have found just spamming the APPS button is the fastest way to get to what I wanted Sling/YoutubeTV/Pluto whatever. The applications run fine. The interface is the problem. I think this TV is best paired with an Amazon FireStick 4k or Roku 4k or even a Google Chromecast Ultra or TV. If you have a newer PS5, XBox Series S/X or an older generation console all the better. Typically all Android TV's I've seen are slugish. But I wanted one to develop software for.

The remote will be non- responsive every now and then, for no reason ( batteries have been replaced numerous times). Again, great... When it works.

At random times when streaming netlfix or any video service, the tv freezes for 5 minutes and restarts. But besides that, the color and sound quality is amazing. I do recommend just using a firestick or xbox to stream your videos

Please perform a factory reset on the television by going to Settings>Device Preferences>Reset. The television will then shut off and after coming back on will prompt you to set up the TV like when it was just out of box. We aren't down there too much, so I didn't want to spend a ton, but this TV does a great job and like that all the apps are on it and we no longer need the fire stick attached to it. Seems to have great response and color and does well in the dark basement.
