    Not what your thinking

    I bought one of these a while back because the specs seemed great for the price. I got home, hooked everything up, turned it on and BOOM! Amazing picture quality and then it happened. When your looking at a still image everything is great but the moment things started moving and changing frames you could see the horrible trails/ghosting and chopping. A higher refresh rate is always better but it shouldn't have been as bad as it was. I took it back the same day and got a Samsung. Honestly if your going to go for 4K HDR video don't short yourself. Go with a brand with a lot of experience and knowledge in the field. Sony and Samsung are companies that have been putting out top notch products for years and I absolutely love my 42" Samsung 4K HDR tv. I might only get 1 HDMI port that supports the high HDR functions but I'll take that with a 120hz refresh rate over a 60" off brand company any day of the week but it's your money and your decision. When you get home plug it in and test the screen/picture to see if it meets your needs. Just make sure to discuss the return policies with the best buy employee if your not sure. Best Buy was very helpful and understanding when I brought mine back for a different one. They didn't make it difficult and there where no hoops to jump through or fine print to stick me with this TV that I couldn't even stand to look at.

    Excellent picture

    I was looking for a 4K TV to replace the 40 inch 1080P Hisense Roku TV in my bedroom. After a lot of research, I decided on this 2018 Hisense 43 inch Roku TV. I currently have a 65 inch 4K Hisense in my living room and a 55 inch 4K Samsung in my basement. I could notice a difference in the quality of the 1080p TV, that is why I wanted to replace it. This TV looks great, upscales very well. I changed the HDMI settings for my XBOX One and played a game. The TV detected HDR and it looked really good. Maybe not up to the 65 inch or 55 inch TV's but really close. I would recommend this TV to anyone looking for a smaller 4K TV in a smaller room.

    first of all, I am not a 4K expert, but I have a full appreciation of the color, clarity, and picture quality of this tv. This is my first 4K tv and my first roku experience too. I am perfectly pleased with this tv. this is definitely a great buy for $300. apps are fast to load and movies stream quickly. 4k and hdr showed up within a minute of loading on Netflix. upscaling seems to do a great job as well from directv. like I said, I am no expert, but I absolutely love this tv, especially for the price.

    Audio Problems

    I purchased this television at the high recommendation of the Best Buy sales person. This was the WORST purchase I have ever made. Within one month the audio is failing. It took Hisense three days to return my call. Their resolve is to send a technician in a week to repair (not replace) a month old TV. Now I have to take a day off work to get this fixed which is more than this TV is worth. This is what happens when you buy a brand you’ve never heard. I would avoid his brand.

    Terrific Mid-Size 4K TV

    I purchased the Hisense 43R7E about six weeks ago and mounted it on the wall in my office. It replaced a 26" Vizio I got about four years ago. I also have a Samsung UN65JS9000 65" curved 4K set in our family room. This is the first Hisense TV I have purchased, but, I dare say, it won't be the last...if it keeps working as it has over the past month and a half. I heartily recommend this TV for anyone wanting to get into a budget-friendly 4K TV for a GREAT price! It is extremely easy to set up and use. Hope this helps you.

    Awesome picture, good sound. Very user friendly. Very simple set up. Excellent performance. With the speakers in the back, I hooked up a sound bar. This helped with the set up in my home. The sound wasn't bad on the TV, just a personal need to direct it foreward. Only one issue with the whole tv/Roku thing. It wants me to sign in all the time. A real pain. My wife is beyond the sign in years, and when it does that to her, she is off the air until I come home. I supose that's not much for most people. For us who are elderly, a little bit of a reach. The rest, top rate.

    Great picture for the price

    I bought my Hisense about 10 months ago and continue to be completely satisfied with my purchase. These tv's have a really nice picture, especially considering what you pay for them. my only knocks against them are that it is slow getting into the picture adjustments and the sound, while not horrible, lacks bottom end. If you are looking for a tv but are on a budget, you really need to give these a look. my next tv will probably be a Hisense, I really am that happy with it!

    Great as a monitor replacement

    I had to replace a high-end Samsung HDTV that was in the bedroom (also doubling as a desktop monitor). Plugged this one in, and it held my hand through wi-fi and connected device (computer & blue-ray) set-up. The picture is very good to say the least, but I am most impressed with its capabilities as a PC Monitor-once I set the computer's resolution to 3880 X 2160, I also tweaked font size to 150% and this looks sharp and gorgeous, no eye-strain like before. $300 makes this a strong value for us. Would highly recommend.

    I bought this tv after my Sharp 50" tv died after only 2.5 years. Hisense was the manufacturer of the inside panel that controlled the back lighting and sound. I bought this as a replacement because it had the ports I required for all the items I have attached to that tv. If I could have afforded a different brand I would have gotten one. I was smart this time and got the extended warranty (which was very reasonable). I am so over buying big TVs for my home!

    Great if you want to TV that doesn’t work

    I just bought this TV yesterday and I brought it home and I was very excited do you have a brand new TV . I plugged it in and it all seem to work until it was stuck on the loading screen and I never got to anything else. I got in contact with hisense and they want me to ship out the unit to get repaired. Never again will I buy this product or anything from this company. I will be returning this TV .

    This TV is no good. After fiddling with the settings the resolution on this TV is absolutely horrible. When playing blu-rays the picture is very noisy and has so many pixels floating around. My previous TV had better quality and resolution. Even though that TV is a Sony. It was a Sony made in 2006. it only supported 1080i and it was better than this 4K TV. The only thing good about this TV is the Roku OS that came with the TV.

      A 4K television will more accurately display the imperfections of standard definition material, so the quality of lower resolution sources could appear diminished when compared to a lower resolution television. Viewing 4K content using the pre-installed Netflix, Amazon, or YouTube applications should display the full resolution of the television.     Good but disappointed

    Owning another Hisense 4k which I love I wanted another. The price point is great and overall the picture is ok. Little disappointed in the limited control over the picture with the remote, no menus like a standard TV remote. The picture is ok but doesn't seem as sharp as other 4k's I have especially not like my Hisense 55". Looks more like a decent LED TV. I would recommend but mostly on price.

    This is the second Hisense TV I've purchased. About 5 years ago I bought a 50" 1080p HD Hisense TV, it was cheap, nobody had really heard of the brand, but I took a chance. I was, and remain, extremely happy!! To this day it looks great. So I decided to buy another one. This one too, is GREAT!! And built-in Roku is the cherry on top. IMO, Hisense, as a brand, is "on-par" with the TCL I bought a few months ago.

    Hisense makes a quality product at a VERY affordable price. They are a Chinese company that is going the route of Samsung in the 90s. Build a quality product for cheap, and make a name for themselves. Hisense is definitely on the rise in that regard. Purchase if you are looking for entry into 4K HDR, and Don't want to break the bank. Quality Products

    This tv is great for he price. It threw me off a little a first as it’s non traditional in the sense it only comes with a roku remote. So you can’t jusy punch in numbers to get to a channel. I suppose You buy a universal or if you have dish it wouldn’t matter. Minor inconvenience but I still wish they would have put a traditional one in the box as it’s easy to hit Netflix or Something on the remote accidentally.

    I am pretty impressed with this TV. It does not look as great as it did in the store but those special lights really make it look even better. I ourchased 2 TVs; a Hisense and a TCL. They didnt have 2 of either in stock. The Hisense speakers far exceed the TCL. The picture quality is great and east to set up. I would definitely recommend this TV to anyone.

    This is a surprisingly good, low-cost smart TV. That it is Roku compatible is a nice extra as it makes streaming really simple, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and even Pandora can be accessed directly from the tv home screen or the included Roku remote. 4G picture quality is also quite good for the price.

    Purchased this for my in-laws as the reviews seemed solid. Couldn't get it to give us a setup screen or anything new out of the box. Could have been a lemon but didn't want to go through having to return a second one if it also wouldn't work, so purchased a Samsung which I know will work. Don't waste your time and money on this cheap brand.

    Very happy with this TV. Easy access to Netflix Hulu etc with Roku. The picture quality from the side looks bad but from in front it's great. It's perfect for what I wanted for my bedroom. Also love the fact you can download the Roku app and connect the TV to the phone so you can listen with headphone es.

    Easy to set up. I already had a Roku device and transfer of apps was easy and convenient. Excellent 4k picture, no complaints here. Sound, while obviously not as good as external speakers, is amazingly good for 2 small 7 watt speakers, surround sound effect is good. Good set for a good price.
