I bought this TV on 11/19/2019. Today is 10/01/2020. The picture and sound are decent for the money but that is the only good thing I can say. Boot up time is slow. TV freezes often when using Andriod TV fuctions, sometimes for up to 3 minutes. You can't switch inputs when it happens or power it off, you can only wait or pull the power cord to force a reboot. This happens a few times a day. The OS constantly warns you you have limited storage space (for apps and data) even if you are only using 75% of the storaage space. Last night the TV got stuck in a boot up cycle. I shows the logo screen for a few seconds, shuts down, turns on 20 seconds later and repeats that process. I unplugged it over night, still the same thing today. I called Hisense Tech Support, the agent could care less. offer no troubleshooting recomendatation, the only thing she could do was "escalate" my issue and I could expect a call withing 24 - 48 hours. No repair scheduled, no return authorization, just here's your case # someone will call you back.

I am so happy I tried this brand.the picture is perfect and the sound is decent without a sound bar.very happy with my purchase.

I have a Samsung Soundbar that I love and hooked up to this tv with the Digital fiber optic cable. OMG! There is no control of the soundbar volume via this tv. I have 3 tvs in my home and they all have soundbars and use digital fiber optic cables. They all control the soundbar volume via the tv except this new one. They auto turn on/off just fine when they sense audio being pushed their way. I was able to throw the soundbar remotes in a drawer and forget about them. Not with this soundbar. The ability to turn off the tv speakers has ARC and Bluetooth grayed out which wouldn't really help my situation. There's a big love hate with this tv but for the Black Friday price of $200 for a Smart TV running Android 9 with the Google assistant and chromecast built in I don't feel I spent enough on this 50" tv to expect it to be even close to perfect. And it has a functioning Amazon Prime Video app working in it. My Xiaomi Mi Box S hasn't update to Amazon ability yet. I would recommended this tv in a heartbeat to anyone that only has $200 to spend. Just remember it was only $200

I purchased this TV for a steal on Black Friday. I work retail (not for Best Buy lol) and have always been skeptical of Hisense. This changed my mind. One of the best I guess you can say “value” TVs on the market. Great interface that isn’t overwhelmed with apps you’ll never use. Picture is pretty solid. Like any TV, you can mess with the setting and inputs and get it just how you want too.
