    The biggest con to this TV is that the wall mount spacers are not included. I don’t understand why hisense couldn’t include the four spacers required to wall mount this bad boy. Besides that issue, this is a great tv for those that have adopted google home as their smart home assistant. I quickly added the TV to my home and added my google play account. I pushed on the google assistant button on the remote and asked google to play launch Hulu. I was promptly navigated to the google play store to download the app. This is where the google tv experience shines. You are able to download and customize your tv with many more apps that are normally available on other televisions. The picture is great for the price but won’t be winning any awards. Overall the hisense is smarter than my pricier 75” television, integrates well into my smart home, and allows more customization than any other tv I’ve had. If only they included the wall mount spacers!!!!!!

    The Hisense - 50" Class - LED - H8F Series - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR provides many of the high-end feature of other brand TVs at a budget price that most can afford. Crystal clear video, surprisingly loud audio, and minimal bezel makes this a great centerpiece for any TV viewing home or office. I was reluctant to get a Hisense based on the limited exposure I have had to the brand and it not being part of the big 5 line up. I was pleasantly surprised by the feature-rich options of this TV and the overall quality of Video and Audio it produced. The added Smart TV functions make this an extremely affordable option for the mases who do not want to sacrifice quality or options be can't/won't spring for the "big name" brands. My only issue that I have not yet resolved is the HDMI (ARC) audio feature for our soundbar. It worked initially, but has since stopped working. We cannot get it to register with the TV any more and the ARC audio is greyed out as an option. PROS - High quality video and audio at a budget price - Minimal bezel with maximum viewing angles and size - ULED 4k live up to their promise - Smart features are responsive and complement the TV well for most people - Solid 4-foot stand makes this TV secure whereever it sits CONS - HDMI (ARC) Audio stopped working after the first 10 minutes of use and has not been working since. Still trying to resolve this issue - need to contact the manufacturer for assistance, but have not had time yet. This may or may not be indicitive of a problem or flaw in the TV.

    Picture is fine, no complaints about that. First issue was that this tv has a low mount so if you are placing an existing tv this one will not mount the same. Second, if you are using a sound bar don’t expect it work like normal. When using the optic out they recommend turning the volume down on the tv or mute it (this does not stay if you turn the tv off) no way to disable the internal speakers and if you have a universal remote it makes it a bigger mess. Ultimately they recommend using two remotes, one for the tv and one for the sound bar. If you use ARC for the sound bar, the volume pop up will randomly show up without touching the remote. I will be returning this and getting the vizio.

    I have used Android powered TV's in the past and the big complaint I have had is the interface is slow and lags. This TV is very quick in the response to requests to the interface. There are good options and you can download all of the streaming services from the app store. For design, the all screen (very small or no bezel) design is very nice and the picture is excellent. The sound is very good for most viewing. I would recommend this TV for the price.

    This tv is horrible. It’s my first 4K tv, I went from a sharp roku tv to this. When I switch from cable tv to my ps4 it starts dimming. The backlight is already dark enough but it dims even darker. It randomly turns my game system on and changes the input over to hdmi 2. My apps barely work on there. I subscribed to amazon prime and I can’t even open the app.

    From time to time the TV locks up and I have to pull the plug. From time to time the TV goes dim around the edges and I have to pull the plug.

Please perform a factory reset on the television by going to Settings>Storage & Reset>Factory Data Reset. The television will then shut off and after coming back on will prompt you to set up the TV like when it was just out of box.     Firmware update failed and now it won't boot up. Contacted Hisense and requested help with a possible email firmware so that I can manually download it myself. Its been a week and no response so I bought a new TCL series 5 and it is hands down alot better then the Hisense. I would not recommend this tv or any Hisense product since they don't seem to follow up with their work orders.

    Bought 2 of these TV’s and 1 of them had an electric burning smell constantly and would lockup after only 1 hour of watching TV. When it would lock up it wouldn’t respond to any remote or power (button on tv) commands s0 I would have to unplug it, wait, then plug it in again for another 1 hour until it happened again.

    This was the worst tv I ever bought . I called hisense for help and they wanted to charge me to speak to tech support . Freezes while streaming and could never update the tv without errors codes popping up on the screen . Horrible tv and even worse customer service.

    This is the second 4k Hisense TV I have tested out and wow what a difference a year makes. The first model was great in all, but it took a "Technically inclined" person to operate. This one, Absolutely not the case. Out of the box and watching Netflix in under 10 minutes (this includes mounting the feet, it is only 4 screws). I actually like the Google Android operating system; it is like a really big smart phone :^). The previous version had a default os that like so many other brands, is just lacking as opposed to the major three we consumer are used to. It is very user friendly, again I say the TV is super easy to use and (if you allow) Google to suggest content it becomes quite intuitive. I have added some of my apps that I use for media viewing and all thus far work great. Oh, again a nod to the upgrade from Hisense to their on-screen Keyboard, I wish other devices would either use one of the tradition ones we are used too or at least be smart enough to make one like Hisense has here. Everything is so clean and easy right out the box that I have not even hard to adjust the color, sound, or basically anything. The sound might be the only weak point, but it is not bad and does get fairly loud or you have or are going to add a sound bar. I highly suggest upgrading if you haven't done so. The complete package comes together when the sound is as beautiful as the pristine 4k quality of the Hisense H8F series. There are plenty of ports to multiple devices to enjoy on this device. This a great High-end TV at a super affordable price.

    I have always recommended Hisense TV's to friends and family looking for a quality budget screen. These budget-friendly models do not compete with high end OLED/Quantum Dot, etc. panels, but they still offer great performance and features for a very reasonable price. This model has functional led dimming zones, a clear 4k image, and built in Android TV features allowing you to run apps like Netflix, Hulu, and Youtube straight from the TV without having to invest in a Roku or FireTV device if don't want to. 4 HDMI ports is enough for most people to game, watch movies, etc. There is also a headphone jack in the back, which I thought was a nice thing to have. The remote is pretty feature packed in this price range, having shortcut buttons to Netflix and a few other streaming services. Setup was straightforward and quick, as it should be. Another perk of having Android TV built in, is it has built in google cast, so you can run streaming apps on your phone, tablet, or computer and cast it to the tv without having to get a Chromecast.

    This tv looks great, but the moment you use any external speakers it struggles, and the components are so weak that they can barely run the OS. I couldn't recommend this television less.

    I’ll get right to the heart of the matter with this review. This television was a disappointment for gaming on my PS4. My wife and I have our game systems set up with 2 televisions on top of each other and the colors, contrast, and sharpness of the picture were all noticeably better on her 4-year old television than on this brand new one. When I manually adjusted the picture settings to bring it more in line with hers, it appeared to overwhelm the processing power, causing a jerky appearance with any rapid movement. On a more positive note, it was great for television viewing. We went back and watched the infamous “dark episode” of Game of Thrones and it handled the blacks very well. I definitely saw things I had missed the first time through. There was no smear or stutter at any point during regular television viewing, just the online gaming. Setup was very easy, with one minor gripe – the onscreen keyboard is alphabetical instead of QWERTY. That is a pet peeve of mine but doesn’t impact the quality of the television. It took me about 30 minutes to go from the box to mounted on the wall playing video games, and a third of that was transferring the wall mount bracket from my old TV to the new one. Overall, I recommend this television for watching news, movies, etc., but you might want to go a different route if you plan to play games online. Pros – Ease of setup, smart functionality, price point Cons – picture quality (colors and jerky), on-screen keyboard is alphabetical instead of QWERTY

    Terrible TV. Not compatible with Roku and not able to download the Spectrum tv app. Total waste of money. Not able to return due to the SHORT RETURN TIME period of Best Buy. Don't know where are the 5 star rating came from!!!! It is a worthless TV.

    This TV screen, not long after purchasing it, starting freezing up to the point that it was not functional which was a bummer because the picture clarity was good. We took it back to the store and exchanged it for another TV.

    Developed horizontal lines just after warranty was up. Died completely at the 2 year plus 5 month mark. Garbage tv avoid at all costs

    Piece of junk had it just over a year and it’s very laggy and sometimes won’t even respond to remote. Kicks me out of apps randomly. Very disappointed

    We just recently purchased this Hisense 50" H8F Android TV for our master bedroom to replace the 10-year-old clunky 42" LG TV that we've had in there since 2009. We saw this TV on display at our local Best Buy store and the picture quality immediately jumped right out at us. The picture on this TV is extremely crisp and the colors are rich and vivid. It looked amazing! It actually looked even better than some of the more expensive TVs that they had on display. We were sold on the fact that this is an Android TV and has all of the features that we want in a smart TV. Since we loved what we saw on display and the price was VERY reasonable, we decided to purchase it. At first, I was a little worried that a 50" TV would be a bit too large and overwhelming for our 120 square foot bedroom, but this TV is so slim and sleek and it ended up being the perfect size. It simply looks amazing. We were considering also getting this TV in the 65" size for our living room, but we just purchased a 65" LG 4K TV only 2 years ago, so it's not quite time for an upgrade just yet. However, when it is time, we will very likely get another Hisense. If you are considering getting this TV, I highly recommend it. It packs A LOT of value, especially for its low price.
