    A decent price vs quality tradeoff, but I ended up returning it as the quality wasn't up to the standard I was seeking. Clunky features and inefficient smart interface. Might be suitable depending on your needs, but we chose to spend more $ on a higher quality set.

    I was talked into purchasing this TV by a Best Buy associate in store. I needed a 50” TV for my living room. I have a high end Sony for my game room, so I was just looking for a basic TV for watching shows and streaming. Was going to purchase a low level Samsung or Vizio. Hesitant about brands like TCL and Hisense because I’ve owned Hisense in the past, for example, and had a bad experience with unexpected issues and dead pixels. The associate assured me Hisense have stepped up their game so I went with this TV. At it’s low price point, it’s boasts several great features. In one week, the TV has stopped responding to the remote several times. The only remedy is unplugging the TV and plugging it back in. Additionally, the WiFi connection drops and has to be reset nearly every time we turn the TV on. The last straw happened when I was streaming a show on Netflix. The sound dropped out, the picture had lines, and there was “snow” on the screen. Thought it was Netflix, but the remote was unresponsive as well. Returning this TV today for a Samsung 7 Series 4K. Bought with a protection plan, but I don’t see why I should have this TV replaced. If it is already behaving this way on week one, then the problem is with the product and brand as a whole.

    First one broke in a week, screen was flashing, returned for replacement same model, its been working ok , the could have put a better processor in it, tv is slow apps lag.

    My first time using a android tv and I love it...you can download and tweak it as you desire...picture and audio quality is awesome

    I had seen a few reviews online claiming this was a good budget TV for 4K gaming, and having previously owned another Hisense TV that I loved, I took them at their word. That was a HUGE mistake. This TV is HORRIBLE for gaming. The response time is atrocious. Moving images are blurry as well. Game mode does nothing to improve it. If you're on a budget and shopping for a decent 4K TV for gaming, look elsewhere.

    Much better TV for the price range than other competitors in the price range. Interface is very ambitious, which may mean delays sometimes, but I love it.

    Never going to buy an android tv again. Went from Roku to this and already miss the Roku OS after less than 2 weeks. Would return but the shipping to send it back wouldn't be worth it. It also goes black randomly and only the sound works. Very slow going from app to app too. I'll probably buy a Roku stick to attach to it, but the whole point of buying this TV was so I wouldn't need to take up an HDMI port with one.

    TV has some serious hype on the internet about its value. The OS on this TV is terrible. Constantly crashed until the point where the tv wouldnt even turn on. Picture quality was not good otherwise, blacks were completely washed out regardless of adjustments made. Returned and purchased an equivalent TCL

    It's a good budget 4k HDR TV but you get what you paid for the HDR in my opinion is to washed out in colors. And the menu is slow

    Good TV. Bought that same brand about 3 years ago. Newer model has a more annoying interface that wants to drive you to streaming services.

    I am returning this item. I may have received a lemon but I am not willing to try another item. The TV drops sound occasionally for no apparent reason and only way to get it back is to unplug and restart (and restart/reboot takes some time). Also about every third time the TV is turned off - it will not come back on using remote. Again,only solution is to unplug, wait one minute and restart. I guess you get what you pay for.

    would be great , but doesn't have enough memory to run android . Slow and unresponsive interface. changing the settings in developer mode helps a bit (ie kill app after it closes and no background processes) but still, should be unnecessary.

    I purchased this tv back in August of last year. Its not a bad tv ,but its not the greatest either. Overall this tv is average at best.

    Great TV with Android and Alexa features

    I’m impressed with the what this TV has to offer. The picture quality is great and the TV has very little bezels. It has quite a few inputs and outputs which worked well for my needs. I wanted to hang it up on the wall using the TV mount from my previous TV, but I was unable to do so. The screw holes are deeply recessed into the TV, therefore the screws I have from my TV mount aren’t long enough. I ended up using the included leg stands and placed it on a TV stand. The TV is able to connect to your Bluetooth devices. I was able to put my AirPods earbuds into Bluetooth pairing mode and connected them to my TV. It worked but the latency is off. Android TV that’s built into the TV was very easy to setup. I was able to set up the Android TV features with my Android phone. It requires an Android phone for tablet in order to setup those features. It has support and skills for Alexa. The Hisense Alexa Skills app as very poor reviews. It was a bit tricky to setup, but I eventually got it to work. I was able to go into the Alexa app and change the name from HAT4kDTV to “TV”. I could then say “Alexa, turn on TV or Alexa turn off TV”. You could change the name to whatever you want so you won’t have to say “Alexa turn on HAT4kDTV“. You can change the name of your TV within the settings of the TV, but changing the name within the Alexa app was an additional step that got it working correctly. Overall I’m happy with this TV.
