High Quality picture at a low cost
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased this TV to use on our patio because of its peak brightness ratings. I have to say this TV is absolutely perfect for outdoors. The brightness overcomes sunlight that would make other TV look bland. The colors are vibrant and the app menu is a breeze. Absolutely happy with my purchase for the price!

Best monitor for its price range.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Researched and researched and researched and became a near-professional in TV/monitor sales. We needed to replace both primary TVs in the home this year. We decided to hold off on the main media room/living room tv until premium 50”+ sets come down under 1000.00 on Black Friday. This Hisense was bought as a secondary/temporary fill in until I go premium in the fall. For 350.00 this monitor has every feature you would get in a Samsung or LG Qled/nano cell at 60% of the cost. Picture is stunning, some of the upscaling/motion enhancements aren’t the most aesthetic but when you find settings you like, you really can’t be unsatisfied with the cost/quality of the panel. Full array, so there’s almost no color bleed(blooming can be rough). IMO if you aren’t willing to go to the 1000.00 mark for a TV set, this unit will match anything the 500-900.00 sets can do.

GREAT TV
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.GREAT TV for the money. I went to several tech-review websites before purchasing. Good color reproduction with the quantum-dot technology. Crisp picture. Brightness could be better though. Android platform is good too. LOTS of choices for streaming apps, music apps, social media, everything.

It's a $400.00 TV. Don't Expect $1K+ TV Picture
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm on my second set which I am now returning. First one had a discolored area on the left side of the screen near the edge. White images took on a greenish hue in that area. Second set has what must be dirty screen effect in the form of a vertical bar on the left side/center area. Very noticeable during action movies/sports when the camera is panning from side to side. If your watching soap operas or talk shows you won't notice it. If you turn on the in-store demo mode from the menu the picture will blow you away. Not sure how your supposed to recreate that via any other content. I have some highly rated picture calibration blu-rays and none of them got the TV to that level. To be honest the picture after adjustment is pretty good but your playing the LCD panel lottery. I bought 2 both of which have panel defects. That's a 100% failure rate. Other issue I have is that the standby light on these is extremely bright which isn't an issue in a living room but is a big issue in a bedroom. The standby light cannot be turned off on this model. Called hisense to confirm. We covered it with 5 layers of blue masking tape. Tried foil HVAC tape as well but that blocks the remotes IR signal. I'm not rolling the dice on another unit. Going to increase my TV budget and buy a $1K + model from Sony or Samsung. Have had luck with both of those brands. We have two of the Sony X900F's in the house and both were 100% issue free right out of the box. Again for <$400 it's probably a good deal and based on other positive reviews I probably expected too much for $400.00. Lesson learned.

Great quality and ease of use.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Spent some time playing with the advanced options calibrating and adjusting to taste. Once calibrated the colors popped and it was very nice to look at. Speakers are base heavy and is still quite loud even at the lowest possible volume setting. Had an issue with the Youtube app that required a hard reset, (which means ill have to recalibrate, but its still a nice display). Definitely a great buy when on sale.

Good TV
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture,Excellent. Sound, Good. Only problem is when you turn tv on the apps take around 20-30 seconds to get going. For the price it’s an excellent buy and recommended. I bought the 50 and 55”. Great for bedrooms or office. I have 6 TV’s in house, 4 Sony and 2 Hisense. All Android.

Amazing tv!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was shocked how good this tv is. For the price especially! I don’t know how they managed to fit all the features and quality this has for that price. Looks better than most Samsung top tier TVs. The full array makes the blacks near OLED quality.

Decent budget 4k TV for gaming
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the tv for a little over a year. I bought mainly for gaming and it's pretty solid. if you have an Apple TV box and use it, please be aware that the black levels will be affected. There will be "ghosting" or "smearing" and it will be really frustrating when watching a scene that's dark. If you were watch something from the smart TV UI itself, the black levels are fine. An issue I had was that i constantly was being told that my memory was getting full despite having as few apps on it as possible. Another issue I had was the speed of the UI and OS. Slow to load the home screen at times. Other times, when I would try to switch inputs, the input selections would not load for several minutes. (Un)fortunately, I had to replace the TV (reasons are not related to the TV itself) and decided to not get another Hisense

Worth it
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent choice for price and features. Best option for teenager gamer and movies. Not best option for new xbox, but he hardly notice the differences between a 60hz vs 120hz. All othet features are worth the buy.

Has met all my expectaions
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a set that was not too expensive, had a nice picture quality, and would work well in a bright room without curtains. It has met my expectations on all three points and I am very pleased with it.

Best upgrade for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best upgrade I've done on a TV for a very low price. I shopped around and looked for the reviews online through other websites and they suggested this TV for its quality. The only reason I did not give it the 5 stars is that I've had issues with the microphone which I have not address yet. Other than the quality of the image is great and the speakers on this TV are amazing.

Beats the Samsung we returned
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had gotten a Samsung TU7000 for my brother for Christmas and when we set it up we noticed how dim and washed out it looked. We ended up returning it and I did more research and saw this hisence H8Q with really good specs. I’ve always been skeptical to go for these less known brands but for the price and specs it seemed like a good deal, not to mention the good reviews. So we bought it, and wow does it look amazing. The full array led lighting for one really makes the difference. Not to mention that with the Samsung we only had 2 hdmi, and this one has 4 with everything else you’d expect. The colors are vibrant and the darks are really black. I am pleasantly surprised my the quality and value of this TV and would definitely recommend!
