Other than the black levels, this TV is very good, and bright. To bright. They made this TV so bright, that it affects the black levels. You can tell it's a budget TV. It's very good for the money.

I am very impressed with this TV. I just needed a cheap TV for the bedroom so I originally purchased a Samsung 7000 series and was very unimpressed. I returned the Samsung and purchased this one after reading some reviews and I am blown away by the image quality compared to the Samsung. It doesn’t match up to the LG OLED in the living room but for 350 bucks, I wouldn’t expect it to. In short, buy it!

Great budget TV, solid picture for a 60hz screen. All apps available for streaming and nice 4K display. Sound is acceptable although I use bluetooth headphones the majority of the time. Software updates have been seamless and wifi connection rock solid. No real complaints.

Excellent TV for the price, until it broke. It started turning itself on (to do updates I assume), and I think it turned itself on while we were on vacation. When we got back, the backlight burned out. Hisense tried to fix it, couldn't, send a replacement, FedEx smashed it, now they are out of stock. So I will no longer have this TV. Good while it lasted. Great picture and loud sound.

Simply a beautiful tv and my daughter loves it. Great value and low price.

I have to say it has the best value when it comes the price range. It gets very bright and has great darks but the contrast is not perfect. But it beats out any other TV at its price point.

The TV looks great and the android operating system is great to use. But after a couple years of use, the wifi keeps randomly disconnecting, which for some reason also disconnects the remote. So every 20 seconds or so the TV is completely unusable. This apparently is a problem with Hisense Tvs in general. Never buying from this brand again.

Lasted 2 years. Had to unplug to get it to start up. Then just stopped working. All I see is the white light that occasional flashes. No rest button. So maybe I'll take it apart to see if any of the boards are burned. Cost of the boards, shipping and time might as well buy a new tv. But never buy hisense again.

The TV is very good. I love it. It is very clear and easy to set up.

This really is a remarkable TV. I don'k know what some of these reviewers expect for under $400, but this is a no-brainer! My only issue has to do with the TV Volume. It sometimes doesn't get soft enough. We have it in the bedroom, so if you're trying trying to watch something and keep the volume low, it can be tough. That being said this TV sounds terrific and it gets loud!

The Hisense H8G is a great TV when you consider its price point. At under $400 for the 50 inch model, no other TV even comes close to the same feature set. The two things I bought the TV for were the Quantum Dot tech and full array backlight. Speakers are not bad, with balanced mids and highs, but of course, bass is a bit lacking. Android TV interface works well but the issue is the internal storage with only 4GB to store the OS, apps etc... the tv can slow down if you have too many apps installed. Dolby vision support is great and works with Netflix. The quality of upscaling has been my biggest complaint but overall, IT’S A GREAT TV!!

Great picture quality but 1 star taken off for dead or dark corners on top right and left side. Also I will not be buying another Hisense TV because of the forced ads.

This is a great TV. Perfect size for a bedroom or living room. The android TV os is snappy and quick. works great, has all the apps you could possibly need. The remote has all th buttons you need without over cluttering it. The picture quality is top notch. I'm loving this brand Hisense. The sound is also great. Defiantly recommend.

Quality TV once you get proper picture settings. The only thing I can critique it on is that it has some noticeable blooming in some scenarios but for the price I can’t complain.

Primarily used for my home office. Android TV is one of the main reasons for purchase. While it is a budget TV, the quality was better than expected.

It was okay at the time, but probably not today anymore.

I did a ton of research going into my tv purchase and decided to get the Hisense h8G and have absolutely loved it. The colors and contrast are amazing. The local dimming is ok but for this price I was surprised that it had as many zones as it did. Overall I would definitely recommend it

great tv. im very happy with this and recommend this tv. everything works great. it has many jacks and every one works fine. i had a samsung tv before and it didn't have enough jacks if you are looking for a tv for gaming this one is great. the picture is clear as day.

Great picture but some flaws. Sometimes loses sound. Its an easy fix turn the tv off and back on. It can be annoying. I do like Android TV.

This was an invitation to TV bliss. The picture is incredible. I can't say anything about the sound as I have connected the TV to my preamp. I have a small living room, but this TV fills it completely from any viewing angle. I am overjoyed with this purchase and will highly recommend it to everyone!
