What do you say about a set that has no right to sell for under $500? I have been in the audio/video biz since 1978 and this is one of the BestBuys (sic) I have ever seen. GREAT MBR TV. Hooked up a JBL Rumble and a Sony Blu-Ray player, great little system. Oh yeah, 4yr warranty!

what drew me to this TV was the price tag, the fact it was 4k and bright screen, the downside was the terrible refresh rate paired with the 4k. watching cartoons or sports you could see the light trails following it and atrocious motion blur returned it within one week and purchased a sony instead

A perfect introductory tv for people new to 4k and HDR without the hefty price tag.

I originally wanted to get a Samsung TV, But, I had to say that I am extremely happy with this purchase . The quality of the picture is remarkable,and the fact that it has a four year warranty made this a winner.

Tv has an excellent picture. Dark scenes aren't great but that's to be expected. Find the right settings with this tv and it is well worth the price. Consider buying a streaming device with it, although Netflix and Amazon prime come loaded, the opera tv store is absolute garbage; really a worthless platform.

Like a lot of people, HiSense isn't a household name for me. I had recently had a Vizio of comparable size/features blow an HDMI port out of nowhere, and upon returning the set to Best Buy, the salesperson recommended the Hisense set to me, and it's been very good. Other than the usual lack of content (no fault of the manufacturer, certainly), the introduction for me to 4k through this tv has been very positive. I will say that depending on the source/programming, the visual settings can use a lot of experimentation before you may find what's right for you, and even then, semi-frequent changes might be necessary. My only other minor issue with the Hisense is that they use the Opera web store as an interface for its smart features and apps. It's not horrible by any means, but it's nowhere near what Roku sets bring to the table, and for people looking for a set of features without getting another device, the notable lack of a Hulu app for this set might be a rough one. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with the tv and would definitely recommend this brand over the Vizio as more reliable and a higher quality at a great price. The most impressive part of the package was how shockingly great the audio is. All I'd heard and seen (some instances in person) was how so many flat screens these days need a sound bar or surround system to do them justice. This is not the case for the Hisense- it sounded *amazing* out of the box without much tweaking at all. Audio is full and rich, easily filling a medium sized room without cranking the volume at all above normal. It is even more impressive to me than the video, which is saying something at 4k.

Good quality picture once you get the setting correct. If you sit to close the picture becomes blurry.

The picture quality is excellent. It has 4 HDMI ports and awesome sound for a TV. In a smaller room like I have it in you don’t need to buy a sound bar. This Hisense TV is a great deal especially considering what a name-brand 50” 4K TV would cost you.

Associate told me Hisense owns sharp and has its tech inside. Has HDR so all the 4k boxes are checked on my Xbox. Phone mirroring so I don't need Google or Amazon Dongles to cast from my phone. All the apps I need and the OS is pretty cool. A+++

For the price this HDTV has a beautiful picture & was very easy to install....

The Hisense 50" looks great and am very happy with my purchase. With HDR (after update) and the $500 price range it is an amazing 4k TV. Seeing how this brand of television was reviewed up there with the better known ones really helped me to decide on this one.

Purchased this TV after my 10 year old HP HD PlasmaTV lost its picture. I like the clarity of the picture with this new TV. This purchase has provided us with a great upgrade for family viewing and gaming. The price was also reasonable compared to other manufactures.

Tv picture looks almost 3D. Purchased 2 tv’s and would definitely buy again!

I read a lot about buying large screen TVs. But it was really difficult to understand whether screen refresh rate, HDR, etc will matter to me as a person who just wants to have a big TV with decent picture quality. HiSense did not disappoint. on top of that 4 year warranty makes it a steal deal.

The combination of HDR, Upscaling, and 4 HDMI inputs makes this a great value. Wonderful picture, and the lack of a fast motion refresh rate isn't very noticeable even during sports and action movies.

This is an ok tv. Has a nice picture and a few of the standard apps. No info about it online that I can find. It will occasionally lock up, tv is still playing but the remote will not work and need to pull the plug and start over.

Exceptional value for the price. This is the most affordable HDR compatible tv I could find that maximizes a PS4 pro display. Only downside is a slightly slow refresh rate which impacts television watching more than game play.

The TV is good so far, can't really review it after just having it 2 months

Bought this for my son. TV picture is very good. Price was very good also.

Great color, and definition. My son loves it. We got it for his birthday.
