After finding picture settings online and adjusting the settings accordingly, I find that this tv has an excellent picture. The colors look nearly as beautiful as my Panasonic Plasma that it replaced and at a fraction of the price. For the money, this is an excellent tv! I had some trepidation concerning purchasing this model due to a few negitve reviews having to do with reliably, but I have had no issues at all. It just came to mind that the set did have a strong plastic smell for the 1st few days after unboxing, but that is the only negative I have had. Hopefully, this set will last for many years to come. The Best Buy salesman said it right" the Hisense 4K is the best value since it has full HDR!" Most important feature wit 4K TVs. I have a $2,000 Samsung and although not as good, the picture. Is almost as good. The smart features work better than Samsung. Overall a great buy and 4 year warrantee is a no brainer

Have only had the TV a couple of weeks, so it is hard to determine long term conditions. However, so far we are very pleased with this TV. It was recommended by our salesman. We are pleased with the quality for the price. We had a well known brand that cost a great deal more and it went bad after only 6 years. Repair costs were almost more than a new TV.

The mounting bracket was easy to install and works very well. The television has a great picture and very easy to operate and install.

I'm not a top of the line tech person but I do like save money and try new technologies. I have an LG 4K 55LA9650 and had a Seiki 4K SE55UY04. It was ok as I got a roku 2 and xbox one but then I upgrade to roku ultra and xbox one s and got the itch about HDR and 1080p 60Hz so I got this TV on December time for only $399.99 I replaced the Seiki 4K witch introduce me to UHD and I was happy, games look good and streaming from roku at 1080P was good too. Then I open install and update firmware for this TV and boy it does makes a big difference. It does needs adjusting and honestly adapting. Best adjust/calibration from rtings.com wow! the colors! Every review about this TV calls for an not comparable high end 4K HDR blah blah blah. I can't get enough of HDR Netflix programing. I dislike Marvel characters, I just fish Jessica Jones and Daredevil all episodes. I just got amazon prime so now I'm watching Goliath. One thing for sure room must be dark. I barely watch TV but now I don't even go to the movies. Roku released a 7.5.1 update and the quality of the picture is outstanding. My friends loved it. I don't even think about the size difference, oh yeah I had a 55" and this 50" like it better. Opera OS user friendly. Great picture for the price.

This TV has one of the best pictures I've seen. Excellent for both watching TV and Gaming.......PS4 games are so clear and have depth. No comparison between our former TV's and this one. Will purchase another one for the living room in the near future. Had no problems whatsoever with set-up. If you're considering a new TV this one is highly recommended!

We wanted to upgrade our 7 year old TV and we couldn't be happier with our choice. The color and clarity are AMAZING!! Don't believe them when they tell you that you have to spend more to get a better picture. One guy tried to tell us we needed the Sony TV at almost 3 times the price to get the better TV and pic. They even tried to tell us that the refresh rate might cause some blurring. SO NOT the case. We went back later and another sales guy turned on the same programming on two TV's next to this one so that we could see side by side which one was better (they can really confuse you by putting different programs and qualities of programs). Hands down this one WON by a landslide next to the Sony and LG. Get the Hisense - you won't be disappointed.

First things first, to get FULL potential of 4K and HDR from this TV, you must UPDATE firmware. I think it took a couple of updates, but my Xbox One S will show "4K @60hrz w/HDR". If you do not do update your Xbox or PS4 Pro will not display full 4K. Also when firmware update is complete going into TV settings and change HDMI function to "Enhanced". Colors are good, HDR is decent, blacks look pretty deep! Also I do not see any lag like other reviews stated, but maybe the firmware fixed that. Like other reviews the sounds is LOUD! Volume does not have to be turned up beyond 10. EQ for sound could be better, but if you have surround, or sound bar it will provide more bass depth. I have not purchased a 4K UHD yet, but sure it will look just fine. Cable looks decent, but do not have a 4K cable...yet! All and all, I stand behind this purchase for regular viewing and gaming.

We bought 2 of the 50", to replace lightening damaged 1080p TVs. I am very impressed with the picture, sound, and functionality of the TVs. We could not hear the wall-mounted TV in our bedroom, from the previous TV, and were considering a sound bar. This TV has ZERO sound issues. The picture quality of both units is unreal! You can see it from anywhere in the room, and there isn't a glare issue. We will certainly recommend this model, and if necessary, purchase another!

Bought this for my son in college. Great detail in picture. HDR is nice. Netflix looks great on screen.

I was not excepting such good picture quality for this size of T.V. Easy to put together and even easier to use. Using netflix is a close as hitting a button. The quality of workmanship is shown as to how sleek the feet are for the base.

Great picture, HDR, and sound. Accessing Apps very slow. Hisense fix the app issue, this UHD rate up there with LG.

I bought this TV because my old Philips TV blew out randomly, so I wasn't looking to spend a lot. I was happy to upgrade the size for my living room television, going from a 43" class to a 50" class, since I use it for gaming, Netflix, HBO all the time. Since I subscribe to Netflix and Amazon, I get the benefits of using the UHDTV features and the picture quality is amazing. I purchased this product on sale for $399.99 and it was a steal! I was expecting to also have to buy a 2.1 sound system for it eventually, but I probably won't at this point because this TV boasts incredible sound quality. The picture can be adjusted to well made presets, or to your preferences very easily. The smart TV works quickly, unlike other SmartTVs I've dealt with in the past, and so accessing Amazon and Netflix is really easy, even though I also have apple TV and several gaming consoles through which I could also access those apps. This is a great product; even at its original price it is a steal.

I can't believe the picture on this TV. It is so big, life like, color is awesome. Love it!!

After much research, for the money this is the best tv, it beats out everything else besides the top end backlit, or oled tv's. Is on par with any edge lit panel I've seen. If your not able to afford the top end, this is the TV to buy. I'm very interested in the "h9" and new 10 series of these starting to be released. Do not get an H7 series if you can afford the h8 series....much different quality and specs.
