I took my wife to Best Buy to convince her that from 10 ft from a 50 inch tv, UHD makes no difference. It backfired on me. The Hisense TV was exceptionally clear. My wife made me buy it on the spot. We have had it for a couple months now and it has performed without issue. I read reviews about service being troublesome. We had a problem with the sound not playing. I called support, was not placed on hold, got a US based representative who spoke perfect, non accented English. She was very helpful and trouble shot the problem to be not in the tv, but in the cable box, then fixed it. I was blown away.
While this tv is way worth the money, it is not without flaw. Viewing could be better from extreme angles. The color and contrast washes out, but this is a real minor issue.

I am a Samsung fan when it comes to TVs but couldn’t help but to notice this one on display. Got it home hooked it all up and tweaked some of the settings based off some info from a tech website. So far I am very happy with the purchase. Picture is great. It is very limited on apps for a smart tv, however. Overall I am very pleased

Its great. Works very well with the Xbox One X that I just purchased. My computer is 7 years old and it even appears to run smoother. Yes I have a 50" monitor. Get it for the savings on an HDR TV.
The only issue I have is sometimes I have to go in and manually adjust the picture when I go back to the PC. Really not an issue.

I was hesitant to purchase this brand, but have been extremely happy I took the chance. The picture quality is excellent. The only complaint I have is it's "smart" features aren't all that smart. Half of the icons don't show, new apps aren't available to install, and software never seems to upgrade. No biggie, though, as ALL my TV viewing is through AppleTV or Firestick.

The Hisense 4K TV is a great investment for the price. Have for about 4 months now in my mancave in the garage leave it on for almost all night all and Thur out the day. The sound coming out of it when playing music on YouTube is also great. Highly recommend this brand of TV will buy another one in the near future.

Needed a TV in a pinch and wasn't ready to commit to one of the big boys just yet as we're in the midst of remodeling our home. This TV has a great picture and features for the price. I only have two issues...no buttons on the actual TV, so don't lose your remote I guess. And every couple of days I can't get the TV to turn off. Turns out this issue has been noted in on-line forums. What a nuisance for a TV that's only a month old!

I'd never heard of this brand but I really liked the picture quality in the store so decided to give it a shot. The picture is really nice and it has a decent amount of apps - including a web browser. The remote is great and has buttons for Netflix and Amazon Prime plus two others. Seems like a great deal so far.

For me this TV was the last TV i ever thought I would buy. I have a 65 inch LG 4K tv I figured nothing could compare too, boy was I wrong! This TV has great picture, color, and a quick responsive menu to navigate through. My reason for the 4 stars however is the viewing angles are washed out rather quick , and the fact its missing hulu. I mean who doesn't want to support hulu!

I'm very happy with the purchase. The store matched the discount they were giving at a Target next door, so I got an even better deal. However, I'd have bought it at at the original store price anyway. It is the first time I have a Hisense brad. I used to buy only the big brands, but I have to say this one has a very good and clear picture and I don't notice a big difference. Color are accurate enough to watch movies and TV shows. The sound is fantastic. I compared it to my room mate's VIZIO I can hear a clear difference, mine beating his, of course. Overall I'm impressed specially because the good price. It has 4 years warranty!!! I would like to be able to watch my movies directly connecting through the network to my NAS. That would be my only complaint but with the money I saved I can build a really nice mediaplayer anyway.

The tv apps work very well. The picture quality is excellent if you are pushing through 1080p and higher quality. I bought the tv for my kids to play games and watch Netflix on and it does an excellent job doing both for an excellent price.

I was looking for a new TV and was planing on getting a 1080p model. I know 4k is starting to roll out but the tech is so expensive I didn't think it was a possibility. After a little research I found this Hisense 4k and it was on sale at best buy for 460! I picked it up and it's been great. The remote is simple and straight forward, if you register with Hisense they include an extended warranty. So far no issues and streaming Netflix and Youtube at 4k has been awesome. Solid budget tv. I don't think you can go wrong with this one. Also, just got an over the air update for HDR.

What a great tv! There is a 4 year warranty that comes with it. It was the easiest set up of a tv that we have ever done. The ability of having Netflix at your fingertips is a bonus! Highly recommended!!

I had a 42 Samsung for 8 years. I moved and my living room put me ten feet farther back from TV so I had no choice but to upgrade. I usually can hold off on the best tech stuff, but this tv at this price seemed like a no brainier. I'm very pleased with the quality of this tv. The picture is great and the sound is ok. The smart tv function works nice as well. I've had zero issues, would recommend in heart beat.

For the price, you get a great image quality (HDR+4k).
At first I was concerned with the notorious "soap opera effect" that you get with those modern TVs which create intermediate images to smooth the motion and remove the blur, but you can actually reduce or disable it (it's called Ultra Smooth Motion Rate SMR 120), it's somewhere in the Settings menu.
Only minor concerns:
- sometimes you see distinct color shades instead of continuous gradients, I don't know if it comes from the badly encoded source or the TV itself, it happened several times.
- the SmartTV application catalog is limited. No HBO Now for example.

Want to get an OLED TV but prices are still too high priced for us. Needed to replace our unexpectedly broken Samsung 1080p. A TV display is no match for a 4 year old and a lightsaber. Figured on getting a low priced 1080p to hold us over for another year or so until OLED is less expensive. I heard of Hisense brand but never game them a look until I saw one on display at Best Buy. Wow was I impressed with the picture. Saw it was on sale for $120 off to $379. Quickly read some reviews online and all were very positive. Also this comes in home repair 2 year warranty and Hisense was offering an additional 2 year warranty for 4 years in home repair warranty. Set it up at home later that day and we could not be happier with this set. Lots of higher end features for a fraction of the cost and 4k as well. At retail price $499 this TV may be a harder sell for for $379 and 4 year warranty, this is a steal.

When I was looking at all the 4k TV's I walked down the row, but I kept coming back to this one. The picture is amazing and the sound is surprisingly very good, without any soundbars or other added speakers. We also were able to ditch our Wii (only used it for Netflix). The interface is pretty simple and has direct buttons to Netflix, Amazon, YouTube on the remote for easy access. When you combine all this with a 4 year warranty and it's a lot less than the other name brands (e.g. Samsung), you will hardly do wrong by it.

We went into Best Buy to buy 2 TVs. We wanted one in the 48-50" range. We saw this one on display but initially didn't even consider it because it was an off-brand to us even though its was on sale for $379.99 (Awesome price for 4K!). Ultimately after talking to the sales people and looking up reviews here we decided "What the heck!" If we didn't like it, we had 30 days to return it. It's the perfect size for the office wall. We love the picture (and we haven't even watched 4K yet!) The apps are a bonus but we didn't really need them (except for Amazon Prime Videos) since the TV has an AppleTV hooked to it. If you are buying it for the apps, be aware that there aren't very many and it does NOT have Hulu!) This TV has a 4 year in-home warranty. So even if it gives out after the 30 day return period, we've got a warranty to fall back on! (Since getting it home, I've had the chance to read other reviews online and they are mostly great!)
