Was informed of this by a Best buy associate. Sharp is now Hisense. I was sure I was getting a good product. Picture quality is awesome and the remote is highly functional and user friendly. The sound is great

Excellent 4K HDR TV for the price I paid. The latest firmware release last month enables you to use HDR over the HDMI ports. I don't have a Blu-Ray player that plays 4K or HDR so I can't comment on the 4K or HDR picture that much, but I have downloaded 4K & HDR sample videos (about 3 minutes in length) and the picture looks great. I'm waiting until the end of December to buy an Oppo 4K HDR Blu-Ray player.

For the price it's a killer tv with great standard sound quality with a really well formatted interface. It's not an oled but who has that kind of money

I think the Hisence H8 series 4k smart TV is a great tv for a lower price then the name brands. Picture quality is good. If you can't afford a higher priced TV, I would definitely recommend this product.

I was looking to buy a new TV and after seeing the reviews on Best Buy I decided to go with Hisense because they offer a warranty that other brands canning match and after installing the TV I was amazed by its quality and performance overall I am extremely satisfied with it. You won't be dissapointed I'm actually waiting for it to go back on sale so that I can purchase another one for my mother.

Seriously, 8ms response time, HDR, 4:4:4 compression... what is not to like especially at this price. It could be a little brighter, but face it, it's not OLED, and it's not two thousand dollars.

Nice clear screen. Built in apps that I used to have to cast via my smart phone. My reason for only 4 stars: remote not alpha numeric. You have to click the arrow to scroll around to each letter to search for a title on YouTube.

I have owned (3) Vizio TV's in the past and was looking to update our current 47" Vizio from 2008. In all honestly the picture is still excellent by todays standards. I really bought it thinking it might only last a few years and 8 years later is still going...Its honestly so hard to tell a difference between that and todays 1080P tvs. BUT I wanted something a little more streamlined (and about 50 pounds LIGHTER) to hang on our brick fireplace. The thing was a beast to move. This TV really does check all the boxes as far im concerned in a TV. I spent $1200 on our Vizio. This Hisense was nearly 1/3 that price!! I just couldn't justify another thousand dollars...and if you really stop and look at these TV's..they all do the same thing once you get it home and off of the display wall trying to prove theyre the best! To be clear...there is not a whole lot available in 4k so don't expect your typical TV programming to look much different...as my wife said..." umm...im not that impressed.." expecting to be blown away watching her Hallmark Christmas movies haha. If its broadcast in typical 720/1080p...that's what youre getting more or less. The picture gets better the further back you are...remember youre not supposed to sit 2 feet from a tv or yes you see every pixel no matter what! the only think is viewing from an angle definitely affects the quality of picture. Im still tweaking the settings but overall you really cant beat all the features. I only wish it was capable of being controlled like the ROKU tvs out there..it was a toss-up with the insignia and and TCL but wit ha 4 year warranty I felt it was the best option.

I really enjoy this TV. I had an old 40" LED 1080p Insignia TV that was still working fine, however I started looking at 4K Tv's because of the higher resolution and that's when I came across this Hisense TV. It was 10" bigger than my current TV, so that's a plus. I didn't want to spend too much on a new TV but still wanted High Dynamic Resolution (HDR) and this was the perfect TV for me. I enjoy it and the assurance of the manufacturer's 4 year warranty on their products.

I came shopping for a 4K TV and was looking at Samsung as I have had great luck with that brand. But the price and good reviews of this Hisense won me over. I'm glad I saved the money. This TV does everything it should at 1/2 or 2/3 the price of competitors. I hook it over HDMI to my Xbox One. Works great. I can control it with my Xbox One remote. Easy to install, easy to use. I do not use the apps available on the TV as my Xbox covers that for me.

Great TV, easy to set up and looks wonderful out of the box. One of the best TVs I found in this price range for a 4k. Also comes with a lot of features that are usually found in more expensive TVs. It has HDMI 2.0 for 4k 60 frames, full array backlighting with local dimming, and HDR. The smart TV aspect of it is a little slower than ROKU or Android TV but nothing too bad. It takes a few seconds to load Youtube, Amazon, or Netflix but once it's up it runs fine.

We went in looking for a 4k tv. We looked around and were shown a higher priced tv that it seemed like they were trying to push out the door. We looked around a little more and found this little gem. It was $200 cheaper than the one they showed up, with a larger screen size and was also a smart tv. We decided on this. It is a great tv. The 4k is amazing to see (upgraded from non 4k). The hdr is great when watching something that shows it. Everything works great.

Really, for the price you won't find better for gaming. The response time is very noticeably fast. Only caveat is to know only 2 of the four ports support HDR (the ones on the side)

We purchased a Hisense TV for our home in Florida. It was a great price and great picture quality. When our 12 year old Samsung TV died, we decided to get the 50" Hisense because of the quality and the price.

I took a chance on this TV because of the features it has for the price. I have a VISIO 4K TV that I paid almost twice as much for, and I feel this one has a picture that is as good, if not better. I have not been able to utilize the HDR yet, but the fact that this TV has it and my VISIO doesn't is impressive. I am pleased that it comes with a four year factory warranty as this is a new TV manufacturer and they seem to stand by their product.

We were looking for a TV that had enough HDMI ports for all of our gadgets. For the price we got the ports we wanted and great 4K picture. Colors are great right out of the box.

I have had this for about a month now and the picture has not failed to impress. There has been one software update handled automatically by the television with only a minor pause as it started up with the new software - very easy. Picture is warm, has good color contrast and best of all is the price for the size and 4k elements of the television.

When my tv broke I needed an inexpensive replacement and the good people at Best But steered me away from another tv brand I was looking to this one. I like the tv but if it is on for 4 hours without switch8ng the channel it turns off. If I does stay on a long time the audio and people's lips will need up not matching up and you have to turn off then turn back on the tv. It's a smart tv but it has limited apps. I can't get HBO Now or Go and not the CBS app. The picture looks good after finding a forum with a custom set up for all the settings. It's not bad for under 500 bucks though.
