Decent picture, bright enough, easy user interface. This is not a top of the line, several thousand dollar TV but if you’re looking for something at a lower price point this is a great option

Excellent picture and overall experience. I don’t have a single complaint and that’s a rarity for someone like me who is a tech nerd who is critical of all tech.

Super happy with this TV, so far. It's survived 2 major surges! Clear, bright and smooth picture, no frame-rate issues on my consoles. 4 4K HDMI ports and everything is awesome!

Provides probably the best picture in it's price range. Bright, vibrant, life like. Lacks a wide viewing angle, but how many people have a house with 5 kids anymore, or are holding frat parties for their college fraternity? The only real problem is the speakers themselves, which with pretty much any flat panel TV on the market is going to be a problem. I teamed my set with a Vizio SB46514-F6 home theatre sound system I got refurbished on ebay, and you definitely hear the difference. If you can put up with tinny sound, it's good. Otherwise spring for a sound bar and it becomes outstanding.

Nice sharp 4K picture. Straight forward settings and easy to set up. It was $90 off at Best Buy making it a very good purchase for a 50" UHD TV under $500. Highly recommend!

Great TV for the money. Features and picture quality can't be beat at this price point. Very satisfied so far! High recommend for those on a budget.

Great purchase! If you want a bright tv, with bright colors and fast processor, do not hesitate. I have it connected to 4k Roku Player and the image is stunning!

Great TV for the price. Picture is crisp and plenty bright. Only thing I don’t love is the auto picture/volume option which changes the picture resolution and audio output based on the type of programming it “senses”. It just seems to “sense” midway through some shows and sporting events which then changes the volume and picture brightness which forces you to manually adjust to get back to the original setting. Other than that, it’s a quality tv for much less than many other brands. Plus the sound quality is awesome, I don’t even use my sound bar anymore.

Not a bad tv, especially for the price. Would have preferred the U*G which is slightly better but needed a 50" TV to fit in alcove. They don't make the U8G in 50" sadly. Was between this or a Samsung Q series but Q series outside of a 9 is worse rated than this TV plus you don't get Dolby Vision on a Samsung. Sound is a bit tinny, even in Atmos if using TV speakers so pick up a soundbar for this. You aren't going to get a better LCD TV in this size range without spending at least twice the price for a slightly better image, and again, you will lose Dolby Vision.

our main tv is 49" Sony 900 series which is a great TV. I needed a 50" for our sunroom but didn't want to spend $1,000 for a new comparable Sony so I researched the Hisense and saw numerous positive reviews and decided to pull the trigger and try it. I had 15 days to return if I didn't like it and right away I knew it was a keepe. Does the picture quality equal the Sony? No but it is a really good picture. Best Buy even had it on a early Black Friday sale 10 days later and all I had to do was bring in my receipt and I got $50 back on the purchase price.

Very nice TV. Great Picture, super light and easy to use. Our sales Rep helped us choose this one and he was right. Great TV for a reasonable price.

Great TV for the price. Snappy Smart features with above average picture and color. Could be brighter but for the price range that’s to be expected. Use RTings color setup and enjoy. Only con is the speakers. They get loud quick and don’t sound that great. Very hollow and sharp. Not enough of a con to take away the 5 star rating. Even at MSRP this tv is a steal.

excellent tv. as cheap as my non 4k i replaced with this. easy setup and picture is great. we use it in our game room and the games look really good

This TV is dog crap. Permanent lag, freezing, and stuttering. I can barely navigate the home menu, forget about in apps. I have factory reset it. I have cleared the cache. I have uninstalled unnecessary apps. I regularly have to restart it to get it to be even slightly functional, as otherwise it will stay frozen or lag for minutes at a time between button presses. IT IS LITERALLY UNUSABLE. This TV is an expensive decoration and nothing more. The only positive thing of note I have to say is, the picture and color is decent. Sound quality ok, it’s TV speakers so not much to expect. I will never buy another Hisense product in my whole life. This is my first and last product from them. You should be ashamed to sell such garbage to people. DO. NOT. BUY. HISENSE!

I like my new TV a lot. The sound is great and it is very easy to use. I wish the remote was a little smaller but that’s my only complaint

My 15-year-old tv finally gave out and I found this on sale at Best Buy. I'm very happy with my purchase. The picture and sound are both much better (obviously) than what I had before. I don't think Hisense was around the last time I shopped for a tv. The only issue I've had was getting some earbuds hooked up. It paired but the audio sort of skipped every 1 or 2 seconds. Restarted (not power off and on) and that fixed the problem. I would recommend.

I bought this for my 93 year old mom eho is in s nursing home. She had difficulty seeing the small tv on the wall that came with the room. She’s absolutely loved the tv! The picture is better than any much more expensive tv’s I have at home. She’s also able to hear everything clearly, the sound is better than most budget tv’s Could not be happier with the purchase!

Excellent gaming tv for a great price. Easy setup and crisp picture. Perfect size for our bedroom converted relaxation area.

I chose this tv after reading reviews on rtings.com, which gave this system super good scores across the board, especially for a model in this price range. I chose a model with an android tv system because I previously had a chrome cast which I LOVED for the ability to cast random tabs onto my tv or talk to my Google Home system to pause or turn off the tv. It took a bit to get the Google Home connected correctly to the tv due to lots of hidden settings, but it’s great now. It’s been a week and I’m so far super satisfied.

This is really a great TV for the price - it does fantastic HDR @ 600 nits and has local dimming - supports all 4 major HDR formats too
