Great entry level TV for your Bedrooms or Kitchen,

Bought Super Bowl special for 399 including shipping! Perfect Bedroom replacement for 8 year old 39in Toshiba with recent sound issues. (It did serve me well) 50 inch, bright with very deep blacks! Works well with premium fire stick! SDR is fine and very good at 720p and 1080i. Plenty of picture calibration options. Lots of bang for the buck! Watch for 30 to 45 minutes before I fall asleep, and same in the morning to get news and weather. Living room has 75in Samsung Q80T!

Good tv for the price. Only drawback is the remote buttons don’t light up.

We are very pleased with the Hisense television we purchased! It was easy to install, easy to set up, and the picture is great!!

Overall good TV - Android TV is a good TV software and I like the remote and picture quality. The main problem so far has been how loud the volume is - we regularly have the volume around 5 which should be too low but for this TV is a normal volume. Sometimes if we switch to another app with the volume up higher it will be incredibly loud. Another small problem is that the TV will automatically turn on video game consoles if you forget to switch the input which can be slightly annoying.

Following reviews on rtings.com, I bought this TV to use as my PC monitor. It turns out the review was done on the 55" model only... This 50" model has severe text dithering issue that no regular sized text can be displayed clearly. I've tried all settings I can in the TV and NVIDIA control panel (RTX 3080). I've even tried a HDMI 2.1 cable to make sure the bandwidth is enough for 4k@60Hz with full 4:4:4 chroma. I've tired to put it up side down to make sub-pixel RGB too. Unfortunately nothing helped. Interestingly, I found positive comments on avsforum from whom is using it as PC monitor too. It makes me wondering if they are getting same TV model but different panel. Or I'm just unlucky this time. Anyway, this is supposed to be used as a TV only. This is an excellent TV for regular video content. The text dithering issue is a deal breaker just for me. BTW, the viewing angle of this VA panel is much better than expected, and much better than all VA panels I used before. I'd say thew viewing angle isn't issue on this TV at all. BTW2, as all VA panels are designed with BGR sub-pixel layout, I wish TV/monitor manufacturers can install them up side down in the TV/monitors so they will be perfect for everything including both text and video contents...

good picture...easy to navigate the installed apps...hard to add channels...shipping was safe and fast.

I am so impressed with the picture. The colors are vivid and the blacks are deep. The backlight gets pretty bright, so it would work really well in a bright room. HDR could be brighter, though, but it isn’t as dark as the TCL 4 series from this year or 5 series from last year. The sound, like any 4K TV is just OK, so you should think about getting a sound bar. I haven’t had it too long so I can’t speak to how long it lasts. All in all I do recommend this TV.

I purchased this television after the backlights in my trusty old TV went out one rainy Friday night. I briefly considered purchasing a far more expensive television, but had read raving reviews about this particular model and couldn’t help but be curious. I must say, even after only having it for two weeks, this television may have made me a Hisense fan for the foreseeable future. It’s beautiful. Now I just have to hope it lives a long life!

love this tv, the picture qaulity is super nice and the ease of programming and operatiny are nice.

Very fast opening apps( Netflix, YouTube) because of all the plugs I have 4 game systems, blue ray player ,and stereo equipment hooked up. Im able to hook up my headphones( wired & Bluetooth. Very easy to navigate. I just don't like signing in to Google. I don't need my tv making recommendations. I deal with enough annoying people I don't need my tv annoying me also.

Best TV in it's class, and the Google operating system is easy to use.

After checking out many reviews of multiple tvs, the hisense u6g stood out above the rest in its price range. $400 on sale for the 50in was a great deal. I was skeptical about all the great reviews on how good the picture quality is but it greatly exceded them. I cannot comment on the sound quality as i use a soundbar and not the tv itself. Overall the smart features and picture make this a great tv at a cheap price.

Bought this for my bedroom. I couldn't be happier. Awesome value, love the Google interface.

Great TV for the price point, top of the line for a budget TV

Just fifth for apartment room. It’s multiple function is also very useful in small room.

Good value TV. Easy to use display. Must adjust picture calibration to get the best picture.

I've used this TV for a few months now, and have found it to be excellent. The picture quality is crisp with good brightness and color. The physical design looks nice, the OS works pretty fast. I have had no problems with it. I bought it to replace an early adopter type UHD tv, and the picture is vastly improved. This really is one of the best tvs for the price.
