No need for extra speaker. Google assistant button on the remote does not quite well detect the speech. However not a major concern.

We used it the first night with no problem. The next day when we tried to search for a show the audio search and the manual search did not work. It kept going back to trying to search with no results. I did unplug it and it did work from there but I had lost confidence in it's reliability and had seen other reviews about how some of the Google TV's lost connection and had to be constantly unplugged. I ended up returning and getting a Rou QLED and it's been great. I really wanted to try Google TV but I was unsure.

My unit after 2 months of ownership will not keep the wifi turned on for more than two seconds. All other devices in the same room have strong, stable connections. Attempted multiple factory resets, firmware updates, etc with no success. sound is average for a TV without a soundbar, Excellent picture quality
