Do Not Buy
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The A76K is far worse than I could have imagined. Sadly, this is caused by a design decision that can't be easily fixed. This TV uses a technique called Spatial Dithering to simulate a wider color range than it can actually display. When used properly, it can improve the image to an extent, however, here it causes an awful checkerboard pattern that can't be avoided. Every other pixel is dimmed for anything short of full brightness (which is most of the screen, almost all of the time), blurring the edges of objects on screen and making the picture "fuzzy" in general. Showing full color or full white illuminates every pixel properly, so I know I don't have a faulty unit. For reference, I have an 55" Hisense U8H (2022, high-end Q-ULED) and a 55" Vizio V555-G1 (2019, budget LED) and this brand new A76K is worse than both. I wasn't expecting a lot since it's a budget TV, but wow, I didn't think it would be this bad. I got this as a budget TV for another room, but ended up returning it. If you sit far enough away you might not notice, but if you sit in the proper viewing distance, you can't unsee it. Spend the tiny bit extra and get the Hisense U6K like I ended up doing. It's better in literally every way.

Very decent budget TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is good if you don’t care about an amazing image. It’s like 2014 quality. Cheap for a TV if it’s just going in a guest bedroom or a playroom or something like that. You can see the light panel when it shows black screens but it looks fine when the screen is running. Overall it’s a 3.5/5, but I’m happy with it. The google casting is very convenient too. Processing time is quick when loading things too.

Best mediocre TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Leaving this review after almost 2 weeks of continued use. To put it short, this Hisense A76K is one of the best, if not the best, mediocre TVs. Having both owned cheap ones and a high-end Mini-LED one, I can say that this TV punches above its weight class in most aspects but doesn’t excel in anything. Breathtaking picture quality? No. Crisp audio? No. 120Hz? Excellent contrast? Nope! But again, you cannot expect these features in a TV for less than $300. The QLED makes it better than other direct-lit TVs (such as Hisense’s own A6) in dark environments, but will never be as good as the more expense U6 with Mini-LED. The audio is on-par with what you might expect from a budget TV but that’s not to say it’s bad; because it is absolutely not. At low-mid volume, the dialogue is clear enough but at higher volumes, it gets muffled by the fake bass that the speakers try to produce. You could pair it with a budget soundbar to get fuller sound and have an enjoyable experience or settle for average quality with the built-in ones. If you deem yourself to be an audiophile, you should probably spend more money then. The Google TV UI is a bit cluttered but that’s not the TV’s fault. What it does good, is navigate this UI seamlessly. There is minimal button lag with the remote, if any, and the experience is free of bugs or any frustrations. The remote feels like cheap plastic but it has every button to do what you need with the least amount of button presses. This TV is better suited for catching up on that one last episode of the day in your bedroom or to be installed in the infrequently used guest room or in your home gym to make that 30-minute treadmill jog less boring. Would definitely not recommend this to be placed at the center of your entertainment room, or for your Superbowl party with mates or a movie night with family. The more expensive U6/7/8 from Hisense would be better suited for these settings. Overall, if you tame your expectations, you will find that the A76K is actually really good for what you spend. No regrets with my purchase!

Outstanding Performance and Value – 55-inch TV
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently upgraded to a 55-inch TV, and I couldn't be more impressed with the experience. From the moment I powered it on, the picture quality was stunning—crystal-clear 4K resolution with vibrant colors and deep contrasts that really make the content pop. Whether I’m watching a movie, gaming, or streaming my favorite shows, the image quality never disappoints. The smart features are another highlight. The interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, with quick access to all the popular apps like Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube. The built-in voice assistant works seamlessly, allowing me to change channels or adjust the volume without even touching the remote. Sound quality is solid, but I’d recommend pairing it with a soundbar for that cinema-like experience. The design is sleek and modern, with ultra-thin bezels that make it look fantastic from any angle. Overall, this 55-inch TV offers an excellent balance of cutting-edge features, premium performance, and incredible value for the price. Whether you're a casual viewer or a home theater enthusiast, this TV is sure to deliver an amazing viewing experience.

Fantastic TV - happy customer!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Clear picture, great options for color, and a great size, all at a great price. Has all the bells and whistles I need but wasn't hard to set up or calibrate. My only issue was that the tv didn't have the advertised 2 locations to put the feet, so we had to use the wider socket. Not a huge deal, but it could've been if our entertainment console were smaller

Good quality TV f
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice TV for the price. Bright enough to use in a darker room, good picture quality. There is not much to say about sound as it does need a sound bar. Apps open and close with some lag as well but at this price point that is expected

Amazing Quality At A Budget Friendly Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 55 inch hisense A76k is better than the A65k. Firstly the A76k has a qled panel which can produce much richer and vibrant colors than the A65k. As far as contrast and black levels go the hisense A76k also produces great black levels while not oled or mini led quality the black levels should be good for most viewers. The black levels you get will greatly depend on the source whether its a 4k bluray player or a game console. Dont expect incredible black levels on non 4k content or when it upscales from lower native resolutions like 720p and 1080p. The A76K also has VRR though only 60hz. It is good enough for most casual gaming. The A76k also supports hdr10, hdr10+,HLG, Dolby Vision. It supports Dolby Atmos as well through the hdmi arc input. Overall if you are looking for an excellent tv and are on a budget this TV has you covered.

Hisense A76k
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this tv after owning a sony tv that was 10 yrs old and only 1080p. Most of the content i was streaming is 1080p iptv such as sports and movies. I wanted to check out 4k content and decided it was time to upgrade. So i purchased this tv and a firestick 4k max. This tv by itself without firestick processing is fluid and the google OS responds smoothly. Setup was a breeze with an android phone and a google account. I find filmmaker mode closest to the gamma color representation as it can get. A few settings to help with setup for filmmaker mode are change hdmi to enhanced to recieve 4k or you will be in standard mode. Change picture mode to filmmaker, backlight 53, contrast 46, brightness 44, color 88, tint 0, sharpness 10, apply settings all sources. Advanced settings- color temp low, motion- film, all noise off, active contrast off, make sure color space is auto. I connected an older Bose Redline 5.1 surround sound system via 3.5mm to RCA with the headphone jack on the back of the tv and it sounds amazing with all channels present and more sound from rear speakers than before. My son plays XBOX Series S and there is no lag between them and picture is vivid and responsive with no judder, ghosting, or screen tearing. Make sure to do HDR Calibration on the xbox. Gaming looks real and amazing on this tv. Firestick 4k max always loads dolby vision and eveything looks amazing, but you will have to adjust your settings to your liking with dolby vision custom profile. I find the firestick to be faster response time and provide more vivid colors with dolby vision always enabled. To sum it up this tv has all the features of the more expensive ones and more. This is not a paid review and my honest opinion of the this tv.

Great bye
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great buy a bang for your buck. I enjoy my flat-screen was very easy to set up. I am a 65 year old healthy woman what my concerns Was how I am able to get this to my apartment. The box that de flat screen came in had to hold slips on the side, which was very helpful. For me. The flat screen was actually lightweight and with the holes. I was able to just drag it to my apartment. This helped tremendously. I would certainly encourage anyone who's looking for a great flat screen to obtain this product. I have also seen this very same product and other department stores. And i've seen some just a few inches greater than the fifty five inch , and the price is very comparable.

Awesome for the price!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Google OS is great. It’s quick and allows app downloads from Google Play rather than getting stuck with what Samsung and LG app stores have. Dolby Vision and the overall quality and picture are great for the price. Only downside ia that there is a bit of light glare on the sides of the screen that you can see when it’s a dark scene in a dark room. But again, for the price it’s been great.
